The Tragedy Of AJ Legend by AJ Afzali

Chapter 6

AJ: "That match was one of the best ones I've ever had. That moment being able to share it with Brandon meant the world to me."

Christy: "When Brandon told us that story earlier he said that during that match he got slashed across the face with bared wire. Not one time during that story did you mention that."

AJ: "A tall tale told by a snake. I'll soon tell you the real story behind his scar."

   The group pull their chairs closer to AJ he now commands their attention like a maestro. He continues to tell the story.

  AJ, Lucy, and Brandon enter Brandon's car to head to the apartment. The ride from the venue to the apartment was quite. During the ride AJ's thoughts ran wild his wrestling days were over and now he's about to take a giant leap by asking Corina to marry him. It's about 1130pm when the trio arrive to their destination.

Lucy takes Angel to the bathroom and gives her bath before she puts her to bed. It's takes her about ten to fifteen minutes giving AJ some time to think of a decent proposal.

Brandon: "Well this is it buddy. You think your ready?"

AJ: "I don't know I've been thinking of a million ways to do this. To be honest every single one sucks."

Brandon: "You gotta relax man. You can't over think it you just gotta let it out. Never hide your feelings always speak what's on your mind."

AJ: "Pal I wish life was like a movie so that we could just rewrite and reboot, but I gotta do what I gotta do."

  Lucy walks into the living room with Angel cradled in her arms. She walks over to Brandon and kisses his cheek. She gives him Angel so that she can go over to kiss and hug AJ.

Lucy: "How are my two favorite boys? Tonight you guys liked it! That audience was in the palm of your hands. I'm so proud of both of you."

AJ: "Lucy I have to tell you something please take a seat."

  She walks over to the couch and sits down next to Brandon whose still holding Angel.

Lucy: "Ok, I'm sitting down what's up?"

AJ: "Lucy we've been together for five years now and in that time we've been through a lot of good and a lot of bad. However we always stuck together no matter what. Our biggest triumph was having Angel and that's something I'll always be grateful for. That brings a whole level of responsibility were parents and I'm officially done as wrestler about to transition to the next phase. What I'm trying to say is Ms. Lucy McIntyre will you marry me?"

  She then rises up from the couch with tears in her eyes and throws her arms around AJ and kisses him as if he'd been gone for years.

Corina: "Mr. AJ Legend what took you so long?! I accept." She says in a joyful voice.

Brandon: "You hear that young one. Mommy and daddy are finally getting married." He kisses Angel's head.

  She walks over to Brandon and she takes Angel. AJ kisses both his babies. Brandon is behind them and they have a group hug.

Brandon: "You know what guys I'm so happy right now. My two best friends are getting married and I'm gonna there to give moral support."

Lucy: "You better give good support Bran." She laughs.

Brandon: "Yes ma'am he's in good hands. Well I'd love to stay but I gotta get going as of tomorrow I'm Mr. Wallstreet." He laughs.

Brandon walks over to AJ and Lucy and he hugs them both wishing them a goodnight.

Lucy: "I'm gonna put Angel to bed I'll be right back."

AJ: "Ok I'll be in the living room."

  AJ enters the living room and he turns on the stereo. He puts on a CD which starts to play  "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. He then dims the lights and waits for Corina to return.

Lucy: "What's going on here? The dim lights, the soft music? How unlike you Mr. Legend." She giggles.

AJ: "Yeah, well it's a special night. I'm feeling a little romantic."

  AJ walks over to Corina and he gently grabs her hand. They begin to slow dance to the music.

Lucy: "You can be quite the charmer when you choose to show your soft side. I only wish you can show it more often. Your always so unsure of yourself."

AJ: "Until now I found it hard to have a smile. A new phase of life is gonna start and I wanna do good by you and Angel."

Lucy: "AJ, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. I love you and Angel will grow to love you too. We've been through a lot but we end up winning when it's all said and done."

AJ: "Your right silly wabbit. Nothing can take us down were two against all."

Lucy: "Loco Lobo. Kiss me now and forever."

  AJ grabs her as Nothing Else Matters continues to play on the stereo. He puts his hand around her waist and he kisses her soft tender lips.

Lucy: "Let's go to the bedroom. I need you."

  He grabs her hand they walk to their room. Before they enter AJ slightly closes Angel's door just enough to make sure they can hear her. They enter the bedroom and she puts her arms around him. She begins kissing him taking off all his clothes as he pulls down her skirt and takes off her top. Their bare naked bodies are pressed against each other ever so gently.

  They move towards the bed and he lays her on her back and goes on top. At first she feels a slight pain but as he eases inside of her it starts to feel good. She pulls him close biting on his earlobe as she moans with passion. As they continue Nothing Else Matters is still playing  on the stereo with the lyrics being heard.

🎶 Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words, I don't just say
No, nothin' else matters🎶

Lucy: "I love you so much. Never leave me."

AJ: "I promise to never leave you. I love you too."

  Lucy then flips AJ on his back and she continues to make love with him. He puts his hand on her cheek and she kisses it. After another five minutes they stop and lay next to each other. They both lay silently and just stare deep into each other's eyes. AJ gets up first and he puts on a pair of boxers and socks. He always puts on pajama shorts and a T-shirt. She puts on her panties and a nightgown. Once they get they get dressed they climb back into bed and go to sleep.
