Ah rain.

Of course it would rain on my way to this shitty town. Sat in the car with my little brother snoring beside me. I put on my earphones in an effort to drown out the sounds around me. The rain hitting the window, the sound of the windscreen wipers, my Mam and Dad fighting about if we were lost. Music will shut them up even just for a few minutes I'm kinda fine with that. I looked out the window to see the busy motorway. Mostly motorway and desert was as far as the eye can see.

I see what Catherine and Edward are trying to do they know I hate them for everything that happened but they want to act like they are great parents. What a happy fucking christian family. The sooner I can move out the God Damn better.

Each beat of the music made me feel calmer and calmer. The Melody relaxing all my muscles, putting my mind at ease. Music is amazing like that. The way it doesn't just go in through your ears but it goes through your whole body. Music is medicine. It truly is my only drug. I closed my eyes so that all of my senses were only focused on the music.

I then felt a breeze and saw my door was open with my dad standing there. "We are here say hello to your new home."

I stepped out onto the gravel. I looked up at the two storey modern house. I put up my hood in an effort to shield my hair from the rain. I slowly walked up to the door where my Dad was unlocking the door while Mom held Harris in her arms.

"So what do you think Flo." She smiled. I didn't reply I just scowled. I went through the house to find my room and found it was in the attic room." Not bad." I said to myself. It was a medium sized room with grey walls. The Rain was a bit noisy but peaceful still. I laid on the soft double bed and found myself asleep rather quickly.

*********

I got out of bed and stumbled over to open the blinds of my room. The sun stung my eyes. I then focused on the view. I could see the car and I could also see a large hedge that surrounded the land which acted like a fence. It was actually quite pretty.

I put my gown on an went down stairs where apparently I was the last down. "Somebody slept well I take it." My dad said looking up from his paper. "Oh um Florence you want bacon or sausages." Mother dearest chirped. "Sausage." I sat at the table beside Harris. He looked at me in the eyes. He knew I was hurting. He may be fourteen but he's already been through enough. Cathy placed the fry before me as I began to eat. Harris nudged me. " Hey you should say thanks to Mom." He seemed insulted. I continued eating. He just rolled his eyes said his thanks and ate.
