8. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏

Monami was lying in her bed, her head resting on the pillow, and she couldn't stop thinking about Mr. Karan Shergill and how different he was from everyone else.

Suddenly, she was horrified by a noise. She went to her window, where she found Karan arguing with a group of security guards and servants.

Karan: Tumhari himmat kaise hui mera haath pakadne ki...how dare you!..tum..Tumhe Pata hai....i'm businessman Karan Shergill...main...
Guard: Sir...pls...pls...andar chaliye, aap chal nahi Paa rahe hain dhang se, aap gir sakte hain aapko chot lag jayegi, please.
Karan: Shut up...Just Shut up!! Main....khud...ko handle kar sakta hun....tum...tum log hato warna main sabko naukari se nikaal dunga...abhi ke abhi...
The guards gulped and moved aside.

Karan: Ye hui na baat....ab dekho main kaise chalta hun, bilkul seedhe seedhe chalke jaunga...tumlog meri Walk dekhna...this is Special Karan Shergill's walk...
Monami was watching all this from her window.
Monami: What the hell? Yeh...yeh Karan kaise behave kar raha hai....shit shit...Monu, he's drunk.
She rushed downstairs. The security guards wouldn't let her walk outside because it was late at night and Rudra had given them strict orders to look after her. Monami, on the other hand, did not listen to anyone; she pushed the guards away and ran for Karan.

Karan was walking drunk when he tripped and fell, hitting his head on a pot and bleeding profusely.

Karan began to get flashbacks of his past. He began to scream in terror, his eyes closed in panic, and tears began to fall.
Karan:*shouted* Papaaa....main...main..bachalunga aapko....main..aap chinta mat kariye...papa...
Monami put his head onto her lap.
Monami: Karan, Karan...hosh me Aao...you're having nightmares karannn!!!
Karan: papa....papa...main...kuch nahi hone dunga..aapko...papaaaa..di bolo na papa se..dii...papa uth kyun nahi rahe hain..di please...... and he fainted.
Monami was startled by Karan's behavior. She yelled at the servants, who brought Karan inside the house hurriedly.

Sanju was punching while wearing her gloves. She ran to Karan when she saw him like that.
Sanju: Bhai....kya hua...kya hua bhai ko....khoon ye khoon
She saw monami rushing into the room and began questioning her.
Sanju: Monami...kya..kya hua hai bhai ko, ye sab kya hai...unke..sar pe khoon...*her eyes welled up with tears seeing her brother in this condition*
Monami: Sanju, main sab kuch baadme bataungi..abhi mujhe Uski dressing karne do.
Monami ordered the servants to call the doctor immediately.
Monami: Jaldi se first-aid box laiyye.
A servant: Par ma'am aap-
Monami: I'm a medical student, main bohot jaldi doctor banne wali hun. I know how to do dressing and all. Ab sawaal mat karo jaldi first aid box Lao.
The servant quickly came with a first-aid box.
She wiped away all of the blood from his wound and wrapped it in a bandage. The doctor arrived and checked him.
Monami: Doctor, kya hua hai...Karan aise..
Sanju: Haan doctor...kya hua bhai ko...*she was already crying*
Doctor: Nothing serious. Bas inne zyada pii li thi, uski vajahse. Ye chot bohot jald theek hojayegi.
Hearing this, Monami and Sanju both felt relieved.Sanju sat near his brother crying. The doctor told Monami to talk to him in private.
Doctor: Well done, dressing tumne kari thi, Your name?
Monami smiled hearing it.
Monami: I'm Monami Mahajan. Actually, sir, I'm a medical student, and I'll be a doctor pretty soon.
Doctor: Oh, that's great. You will become a very good doctor in the future, nice to meet you Dr. Monami.
The doctor blessed him, Monami smiled.
Doctor: Vaise, tum inhe jaanti ho? *He asked her looking at Karan*
Monami: Haan, he's....he's a family friend and we're neighbours too.

Monami remembered the incident that just happened few minutes ago.
Doctor: Please...inka dhyaan rakhna aur ho sake to just make him forget all those memories.
Monami: I'll...i'll take care doctor.
Doctor: Well, Nice to meet you Soon to be doctor. Chalo ab main chalta hun.
