19. 𝑹𝒂𝒂𝒃𝒕𝒂

Already midday had arrived.

Rudra was peacefully sleeping off. Shreya was standing in front of the mirror while wearing a saree. Rudra tried to slowly open his eyes. He saw Shreya as soon as he opened his eyes; he could see her back.

He screamed in confusion.
"AAAHHHH"
Shreya too screamed and turned.
"Aaaahhh"

Rudra stopped for a second then fluttered his eyes.

"Oh, Shreya ye toh tum ho...main Kha ma kha dar gaya" he keeping a hand on his chest.

"What? Tum..mujhse dar Gaye? Matlab kya hai tumhara?" angryly said Shreya.
After getting from his bed, Rudra approached her.

"Vo kya hai na, mujhe aise subha subha itni khubsurat ladki ko dekhne ki aadat nahi hai na..." he said, grabbing her waist and drew her in close.

Shreya wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Toh aadat daal lijiye Mr. Rudra Babbar. Kyunki aapki shaadi ho chuki hai, aur aapki ye beautiful wife ab aapke saath hi rahegi...hamesha" she said

Rudra pulled her move closer to her.
"I love you, Shreya"
"I love you more"

As he leaned closer to her lips, there was knock on the door.
"AAAHHH MERE ROMANCE KE DUSHMAN SAALE, KAUN HAI AB!!" Rudra shrieked angrily.
While Shreya laughed out loud.

Sid and Faizi were standing when he opened the door.

"Kya hai, tumlogon ko zara sa chain nahi hai?" Said Rudra

"Bhaiya, vo cheekhne chillane ki awaaz aayi, isiliye hum log daude chale aaye ki kuch ho toh nahi gaya" said Faizi
"Kuch ho hi toh nahi raha hai bey" Rudra muttered to himself.

"Kuchh kaha bro aapne?" Aksed Sid

"Nahi...nahi..mene kaha kuch kaha, Chalo hogaya na tumlogon ka, jao karo, jio aur jeene do" Rudra spoke as he shut the door in front of their faces. With one hand, Sid put a stop to it.

"One minute bro, it's already afternoon. Aap itni late tak toh nahi sote...ahem ahem...cheekhne chillane ki awaazen, late uthna, seems kaafi mehnat kar rahe hain aap Aajkal.." Sid responded while giving Rudra a suspicious look.

Rudra simply gave him a death gaze. He picked a slipper from the ground, and showed it to Sid, he simply gulped.

"Dafa Ho, jaldi..." said Rudra
"Um...i was..i was just joking...I mean.." stammered Sid. And they both ran away.

Shreya bursted out laughing.

With a furious scowl, Rudra went to the bathroom.

When Shreya stepped to the balcony, she noticed Karan pacing back and forth. He appeared tensed. She made the decision to approach him downstairs. She walked down and asked Karan.

"Arey Karan, kya hua sab theek hai na?"
"Arey, dii aap....bas..vo.." said Karan
"Batao kya hua hai"
"Vo, abhi tak Monami nahi aayi...kaafi der hogayi hai" said Karan looking towards the gate.
Shreya smiled seeing him.

"Tension mat lo aati hi hogi, ek Kaam karo, tum lene chale jao na aaj, Monami ko acha lagega.." said Shreya
"Main? Nahi...main kaise..." said Karan

"Vaise dii ki baat toh sahi hai, main raaste me Monami se maafi bhi maang lunga.." thought Karan

"Main leke aata hun Monami ko" he said with a smile.

Shreya smiled and nodded in agreement when she saw how much he cared for Monami
