Sitting awkwardly in the car back from the restaurant i look at my phone to see if anyone texted me. Jacob has been so quiet this night out and it's bothering me because i already asked if there was anything wrong but he said there wasn't but still i'm sure there is.
"2 new texts" i see when i unlock my phone, they're both from Zoë.
Hanna, what are you doin' you're going to a reastaurant with Jacob while he obviously likes you but you told him you don't like him, you can't do that to him.
Hanna, i'm serious, Jacob stopped by my house when he dropped you off this afternoon and he bawled his eyes out because he likes you.
I don't even know what to react on this so i just follow my instinct i guess..
"WHAT?!?!?!?! ZOË ARE YOU SERIOUS? HE TOLLD ME HE DIDN'T FEEL LIKE THAT ABOUT ME WHAT DO I DO NOW?"
I press send before reading it over one time and i recognize i sended everything in caps but i don't even care about that, i'm in shock right now.
"Hey uhm Jacob, can i ask you something?" i look at him while he looks at me in shock. "Uhm ofcourse Hanna, what's wrong? "Well i say, i got 2 texts from Zoë and she tolld me you stopped by her house after you dropped me off this afternoon and that you bawled your eyes out because you do feel like that about me? After telling that i look at his face and he looks like the wind just got knocked out of him and he clears his throat before changing his gaze to his hands while fidgeting with this bracelet he wears all the time.
After 10 minutes what it felt like he finally looked at me with tears in his eyes. Okay Hanna, it's true i do like you, i feel different around you, no one ever accepted me the way you do and i can be myself around you and you're so sweet to me and i mean you have a beautiful personality but you are also very beautiful yourself and i don't know but i don't want our friendship to end because of this so i told you i didn't feel like that because i was scared.
Woah this came unexpected, okay Hanna, stay with the conversation say something to him..
Uhm i don't know what to say to you Jacob, i say to him while looking away kinda blushing. Well i have to admid, i'm never a shy person but right now you make me shy Jacob i mean you are sweet too and everything you just told me is the same for you but i only know you now for what almost a month. I could fall for you but i don't fall fast for people, i used to do that but i learned myself not to because i always got hurt and i just want to get to know you better i guess. Turning the ring on my hand in rounds around my finger from almost awkwardness i look at him. I understand that Hanna, it's not that i will ever push you to like me you know, just don't stop being my friend okay? Ofcourse not Jacob, i like hanging around with you and i like being with you i say blushing. He gives me a big smile while grabing my hand, thank you he says in a serious tone, i'm serious when i say you mean much to me and this means the world to me that what you said.
Getting interrupted by my mom who looks behind her to see what is going on until her gaze goes to our hands since jacob is still holding my hand. Out of shock he pulls his hand away and looks outside of the car while my mom gives me a smirk and i roll my eyes until Anna suddenly wakes up from her deep sleep she fell in immediately when she touched the car. I had such a weird dream she says. What was it than? my mom is questioning to her and Anna looks up at me. I dreamed that you and Jacob where in love with eachother and got married. The whole car breaks into laughter and i look at Jacob while he looks with open eyes to me and than to Anna. Well that's a really weird dream Anna, Jacob says, but if it would be true i would be very blessed, giving me a small smile and everyone in the care going into awe while i'm just sitting there awkwardly.

Yes this is my house, Jacob says after my dad pulls over. It was a plessure to be takin' with y'all and i had a great night Jacob says giving my parents a big smile. It was the least we could do my dad says, hope to see you soon again my mom says to him. Hanna, would you mind walking with me to the door? Jacob asks me and i nod my head.
Standing infront of his house he awkwardly turns around. Thank you for tonight Hanna, i had a lot of fun even though i didn't say much the whole night. It's not a problem i had fun having you around and now i know what was wrong i say giving him a small smile. Okay good Jacob says while giving me a tight hug. See you on Monday Jacob says and i smile at him, Yeah see you Monday.
After coming home and changing into a black sweat pants and a light pink hoody i come downstairs. Anna went straight to bed after coming home and my dad is in his office to handle some last things for his own label so i can finally have a mother daughter night. Hey mom what movie shall we watch? I ask her while she comes back with some popcorn and tea. Uhm can we watch a love movie? she says to me with a smirk on her face. Uhm yeah ofcourse and i grab the first movie i can find that is about love, Dear John. I've watched Dear John for maybe 50 times already and i can't get enough of it to be honest.
After bawling our eyes out during the movie we finally calmed down and got another cup of tea. So my mom says looking at me, what was that tonight? you guys holding hands in the car ha?
I knew i would get this question so i already prepared on this and i practiced the answer in my head but now i actually have to explain it it isn't that easy anymore.
Uhm well, Jacob likes me i say with a face as red as a vulcano. Oh my mom says with a too happy face, and you do you like him? You guys would make a perfect couple if i can say that, he's a good kid. Yeah i know, but i know him for not even a month now you know, and i know almost nothing about him so i told him i could fall for him one day, but now it's too early. Hmm you're right but you guys seem so close and for knowing someone not even a month now, that's pretty interresting. You guys act like you know eachother for maybe 5 years now if you know what i mean. I'm just saying you that he's a good looking kid, and before you know it there are other girls liking him and when you still don't want him like that he will be going to a girl who does like him you know, he will be moving on than and when that happens i think you'll be hurt because i can see that there are more feelings for him than you're letting in. You can be scared Hanna, but making mistakes in life is something that will always happen, and if it doesn't work out than you guys can always stay friends. After letting everything in i think my mom is right but before i can respond my dad shouts my name and that from my moms from his office and we both walk to it.
Hey Hanna, i've been searching on youtube for people who have a real tallent in their selves and than i saw this video, isn't that that Jacob kid?
I give it a look and my mouth dropps open in shock, HE IS!
