Johnny Depp Imagines

Dance Partners.

I sigh as I turn off the music. "It's 1,2,3 step." I was getting overly frustrated with my dance partner in preparation for the upcoming show. A show that could catapult my career. The academy had given each of us a celebrity dance partner and when I was given mine I was excited. Turns out Johnny Depp is more about the music than the dancing.

"Right let's try this a different way." I sigh as I turn up the volume on the music. "Take off your shoes."
"My shoes?"
"Yes Mr Depp your shoes." His face crumpled with confusion.
"If this is going to work you have to feel the music. So take off your shoes."
He hesitates before slowly removing his shoes. "Right now close your eyes." He gives me a funny look before complying. His dark chocolate eyes disappearing behind his eyelids.
I turn once more and press play before walking close to him. I lean in and whisper.
"Now just feel the music and move with the beat."
I take his hands and place them around my waist.

I start counting in my head as we begin to move along with the music. His facial expression changes as he relaxes into the music. He spins me around the small dance floor in my apartment. The music notes bounce around the room his lips turning up into a small smile.
I never stopped to appreciate just how beautiful this man was. His chiselled features seemed to dance along. I pressed myself into him a little more his eyes opening as the music began to reach its crescendo. He spins me out and away before pulling me back into his chest.
His eyes almost light up as I bring my gaze up to meet his his hand softly grazes up my left side cupping my face. I lean gently into his touch my eyes closing for a brief moment. It was said time stopped.
It was just us two there in that moment nobody else existed in the world just us and the music.

As the music draws to a end we finish with a simple bridal style lift my arms wrapped around him our eyes never straying from each others. He lets me down gently. I smile as the music finally stops.
"See all you had to do was feel the music."
"No all I needed was to feel you."
His words almost through me off but I knew right there and then that no matter what Johnny and I would make a great dancing couple.
