The Wild West (Foolish x reader)

A couple days after Foolish started working at the saloon, he started to really fit in. He walked around town and people actually started saying hi to him like they did to (Y/N). He was really starting to fit in with this town. Everyone was nice to him after they assumed he wouldn't do no harm. This day was one of his free days and he decided to spend the day with his friend (Y/N). 'Friend', what a funny word to use for others. He really never had friends since he was always on the move. Why? That's a story for a later time. He and (Y/N) went to the stables to check up on the horses and other animals living there. They said hi to the barn dog Bailey and the barn cat, Annie. Foolish quite enjoyed the animals company, Bailey and Annie made him feel very welcomed. (Y/N) was busy checking out the horses, petting them and giving them carrots they stole from the saloon. It was a beautiful morning and (Y/N) had an idea. "Hey Foolish," they looked over to see him playing with the animals. They stared for a bit thinking it was cute before they snapped out of it. This is not the time to fall in love, especially with someone from god knows where. "Yeah (Y/N)?" (Y/N) got back with reality and asked Foolish the question. "Can you ride?"

(Y/N) and Foolish both got on horses and (Y/N) decided they go on a trail ride to see the sites of the town. They went through bushes and apple trees until finally they got to the top of a cliff over looking the town. "Here we are!" (Y/N) showed. Foolish was amazed by how you could see the whole town from this one cliff. He could see people going about their daily lives. He saw Punz and Sapnap hanging out by the store and he could see Bad saying hi to customers. Everything looked peaceful in this town. "So what do you think?" (Y/N) pulled Foolish out from his stare and responded with, "Uh it looks amazing! You can see everything and everyone from here." "Yeah I thought you would like it. This is my favorite spot. I come here when I need to get away from everyone." Foolish, filled with curiosity, asked, "Why would you need to get away from everyone?" (Y/N) responded with, "Well, everyone wants me protected and kept safe. My family doesn't really want me to leave the town, but I want to. I want to see what lies beyond the horizon." (Y/N) finished, "But that not really important right now." Foolish wanted to say something to comfort them but he was cut-off by (Y/N) saying, "We should head back. Come one lets go." They rode back in silence and when they got to the stables, (Y/N) was silent, even when Foolish wanted to strike up a conversation. They walked back to the saloon in silence too. Once they were back in the saloon, (Y/N) went upstairs to their room. Foolish was perplexed on how to cheer them up, so they went to one person who truly knows them, their brother Punz.

Once Foolish found Punz, he was still with Sapnap, they were hanging out by the shooting range. Once Foolish started to walk over to them, they noticed him immediately and met him half way. "Hey man! What's up?" Punz said. "Hypothetically, lets say your sibling is upset, what do you do to make them feel better?" "What did you do?" Punz said sternly. You see, Punz was very protective of (Y/N), if anyone tried to hurt them, they would be kicked out of this town so fast you wouldn't even notice they were gone. Foolish quickly said, "Nothing! We went to their favorite spot and they started saying how they want to leave and that made them sad and I don't know what to do!" After hearing the story, Punz and Sapnap got things to make them feel better (you can imagine what they are, whatever makes you feel better when you are sad :D). The trio then went to the saloon and up to their room. Punz knocked and asked if they could come in. Punz went in first soon followed by Sapnap and Foolish. Foolish was not really used to comforting people so he awkwardly stood to the side. Once (Y/N) felt better Sapnap and Punz left so it was just them and Foolish. "Hey, how are you feeling?" Foolish asked. "Better, sorry sometimes I think about how life could be different and its just-" "Complicated?" Foolish finished, "I know it can be hard sometimes but just focus on the good things," Foolish finished while smiling slightly. (Y/N) smiled back. Foolish then went back to his room and left (Y/N) with their thoughts. Foolish seems very sweet but something tells them that it won't last forever. Though these thoughts ran through their head, they just decided to enjoy it while it lasts.
