The next day, (Y/N) didn't speak to Foolish at all. They were still trying to wrap their head around his story and his past. The one thing they didn't like was how he lied about being here, he was trying to steal from their town, but then he made friends. He felt like he belonged but still had to reveal his past anyway. (Y/N) was working in the saloon with Punz and Foolish. (Y/N) didn't even spare a glance at Foolish. They didn't want to talk to them, at least for today. Punz noticed the distance between his sibling and Foolish. "Hey, what's up between you and my sibling?" Punz asked Foolish. "I-" he hesitated. He knows he can trust Punz but wouldn't want to tell his story out in the open. He brings Punz into the supply room in the kitchen with all of the ingredients. Foolish then goes and tells his backstory and how he lied. "So, (Y/N) is distant because you lied to us?" Punz asked. "I believe so. They might need some time to process the story too." Punz looked at Foolish with sadness. He knows that Foolish likes them and that he wouldn't want to loose them, but he also knows his sibling and how they need time. "Don't worry Foolish, they just need some time." Foolish felt a bit better by Punz saying that but he didn't know.
Foolish was on break and was walking around town, when he spotted Quackity coming towards him. He never really figured out why he recognizes Quackity, maybe it was his beanie that gave it away. "Hey Foosh!" Quackity said. Foolish was taken back by that sudden nickname. (Y/N) is the only person who called him that. "Hey..Quackity," "Hey man! Why the long face?" Quackity asked. Foolish noticed Quackity acting weird. He would never be this hyper and alone. "(Y/N) and I are keeping our distance at the moment." "Oh I'm sorry man! Come on, lets go back to my room at the motel and discuss it." Foolish had a feeling that going with Quackity would be bad, but he went anyway so he doesn't make Quackity sad. Once they got to the motel, they went up the stairs and on the way up Quackity asked, "So.. Foosh," Foolish cringed at the nickname, he didn't like that way Quackity said it. "Remember when we rescued you from those bandits?" Foolish nodded, confused on where the conversation was going. "Well, it seemed they were looking for you because you have a bounty on your head." Foolish looked surprised, he didn't know people wanted him for money. As they were nearing Quacrkity's room he said one final thing, "And you know better than anyone that I couldn't resist an offer like that." And what Foolish saw next was darkness. He had been knocked out. Quackity pulled Foolish in his room and then left to go buy a train ticket, two actually.
