"Foolish? Are you ok?" Foolish was snapped out of his thought by (Y/N)'s voice. "Yeah I am just a little worried." "About what?" Foolish looked at them with nerves. "Telling you the truth as to why I am here." (Y/N) looked at him puzzled, "But you told me why, to stay here for a bit." Foolish looked at them with sadness in his eyes. "I lied." (Y/N) looked shocked. Yeah sure, people have lied to them before but it had never been so serious as to this. "So why did you come here? Why were those people after you? Why did you know his name?" (Y/N) was filled with curiosity, they felt like they had the right to know why. "It started when I was a kid..."

flashback

A small village is shown. Seems to be far east. The Wild East. In this village, kids run wild and play all day long. The village didn't have many worries, if something bad were to happen they would bounce back fast, until one day where everything changed. It was a normal day like any other, with no worries. Then a stranger came to town. They met with the leader and said they wanted a duel, at high noon. If the leader wins, then the village gets many new resources and lots of defense. If he wins, then destruction comes. The leader accepted, thinking that they could beat this guy any day. High noon comes and both get ready with their pistols

(TRIGGER WARNING)

Both men face backwards and walk ten paces. A women counts the paces, "10...9," townspeople hide their kids, "8...7," one of those kids was a curious little boy, "6...5," he wanted a better look at the duel, so he moved closer, "4...3," he moved behind a barrel and poked his head out, "2..." he wanted to see his father win this duel, "1!" POW. A body falls to the ground, his father is dead. People scream in terror seeing their leader down. People are pushing and falling as the man who brought terror to the village points his finger to the center of the town. Men charge into the town. Everything goes by so fast. The little boy tries to find his family but fails. He hides in a barrel for hours until all the noises are gone. He pokes his head out and sees everyone in the village down on the ground. He comes out and sees his family down with the rest of the people. He sits next to them and starts to cry. He could have done so much more, but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

10 years later

The little boy is seen as a teen now, moving from town to town, trying to survive on stealing food. He couldn't stay in one place too long before he got caught. This town he has been able to stay longer than most times. He even made some friends. One was a fox, one was pure slime, and one was an alien! Him and leader had gotten along very well. The teen felt he was finally home with people who cared for him. Well, that feeling didn't last. The leader wanted to make their town into something more, but only if they destroy their neighbors. The teen was let in on this idea, but then refused to help him with his plan. The leader then tried to manipulate him but the teen got out just in time. He would never forget that place or that man. The man with the beanie.

Yes reader, this boy and teen are Foolish

(Y/N) listened closely to every part of his story. They were very surprise by their dark past, since they seem so cheerful all the time. But you can always hide your feelings with a smile. The part that they still don't get is why they decided to stay. He would normally leave a town in 2 days even if he wasn't caught. Why did he stay? And why did he have to lie. (Y/N) only wanted the truth. Especially from someone who they trusted so much. "There, I answered all of your questions." "Except one, why did you stay?" Foolish looked at them and said, "That's a story for another time." And with that, Foolish walked out of (Y/N)'s room and left the saloon. He decided it be best to stay at the motel close by. He just hopes that (Y/N) can look east his flaws and sees the true him.
