as Alyssa stepped into the high school all eyes were on her. Whispers broke out amongst the crowd of students leaving Alyssa to pick at her fingers , it was an instinct to her. as she looked up her eyes with a pair of hazel ones.
Eddie Munson.
Eddie Munson was known as 'Eddie the freak Munson' around Hawkins high and only the people in the hellfire club knew about his massive crush on Alyssa kaiser.
His crush on Alyssa began in 4th grade when she gave him her crayons and then punched someone in the face for him.
flashback
"hey, um I noticed your kind of just sat there do you want to use my crayons and draw with me?" the young girl asked her piercing grey eyes staring into his hazel ones, her plaited hair hanging on her shoulders
"um.. sure. I'm Eddie!" the young boy said a smile grazing over his lips his hazel eyes finally meeting hers
"I'm Alyssa it's nice to meet you!" she spoke with a huge grin covering her features
"I um... I know, didn't you move from Germany a year ago?" he asked his features faltering hoping not to scare her away like his previous friendships.
"yeah I did I moved here with my mum and dad!" She replied a small giggle spilling out of her mouth.
Eddie believed that he had never heard a more beautiful sound in his life and was convinced that he wanted to hear that laugh every second for the rest of his life
"that's so cool!" he said with a grin
"yeah I gue-" The small blonde was suddenly cut off by a shout across the room
"DONT HANG OUT WITH HIM ALLYSA YOUR GOING TO GET THE EDDIE TOUCH AND THEN YOULL HAVE NO FRIENDS!" Justin shouted across the room to the small blonde girl a frown suddenly appearing on her face, Eddie sat next to her a frown on his face while his nose twitched, a sign he was on the verge of tears, Alyssa adamantly stood up making Eddie think she had left because of what Jason has said and she no longer wanted to be near him but instead she marched over to Jason and punched him right in the face. A gasp spilt out of eddies mouth as he watched the crimson red liquid spill from Jason's nose
"Don't talk bad about Eddie again jason!" she shouted before walking back over to Eddie and giving him a small hug and making sure he was okay.

The girl spoke to Eddie once after that, Mainly because she couldn't remember who she was and during high school he found new friends and so did she. He'd never let her know but she's the reason that he's not bothered by bullies anymore because she wasn't bothered by them.
He had tried to talk to her once during high school but she just responded with "I'm sorry do I know you?" and he never tried again
as their eyes met he gave her a small smile and she looked back down at her hands not knowing if he was smiling at her out of sympathy or to mock her. either way she walked to class and quietly listened to her biology teacher talk about random things.
when lunch rolled around she stood there looking at all the groups noticing how it hadn't changed since she left. she began to walk to the exit and Eddie noticed this, he quickly got up out of his chair and ran over to her grabbing her wrist before she could leave. her grey eyes stared into his confusion written all over them.
"hey umm.. I'm Eddie and I was wondering if you wanted to come and sit with me and my friends, I don't want you to have to sit on your own on your first day back, but no pressure!" he said with a nervous laugh following as she scanned his features
observing everything about him, she found herself infatuated with his features. light freckles dusting his nose and partly on his cheeks, his hazel eyes that she could just drown in, his black nail varnish and tattoos that scattered his arms, his curly mullet. she found him cute like a sort of poodle that seemed lost
what she didn't know is that he was doing the exact same thing. Observing her features. her short blonde hair, her chipped nail varnish that she was covering with her long sleeve top, her grass stained converse, her birthmark on her neck which looked like she had tried to cover it with makeup and her grey eyes which were like pools of diamonds in his mind.
Oh how he wishes that she would like him the way he likes her...
