I woke up to a sudden shock. I looked over to see a grinning Kara, who had a sparking finger pointing at me. "Rude. What's up?" I ask, looking at the time. 4:30 AM. "Why so early? Hazel's probably still asleep." I add, a little more quietly this time, as to not wake the potentially sleeping teen.

"I figured out the class I want to go for, Cy. To stop any interference with my skills in combat, I want to go with the Guardian class, at the cost of learning powers at a slower rate, and with higher FP costs." She rambled. I nod quickly, and guide her through selecting everything.

"Alright. That should be everything you need to know." I finish, after rambling for about an hour on the pros and cons of being a Jedi Guardian. "That's a lot to take in, but I think I've got most of it." She claims.

"Well, I'm awake now, so I'm gonna go fuss over my lightsaber, see if I can add this crystal to it. Personal crystals like these are incredibly powerful. They can amp up your stats, they can increase attack damage, and add other secondary effects to each hit you land." I say, showing the crystal to her.

So I did. I spent half of the day working, part of that time just aligning it with myself completely, for the most accurate buffs. When lunch came around, I almost didn't notice Kara tapping on my shoulder, holding a plate. "Hey, you need to take a break at some point. Hazel told me to take a break to check in on you, so here I am, and I brought food." She tries.

"Mmm. Focusing. Don't want to stop in case I almost have it." I mutter, just loud enough for her to hear. She huffs. "Fine. I'll set the plate here, just be sure to take a break soon, alright?" I shrug. "If you insist."

I only really realized how long I'd been working when I set it down in order to eat. I ate in silence, thinking about how I just zoned out, and why it might've been. I had a couple ideas, and all of them sounded pretty realistic.

It could be a need for a distraction, whether it be from nervousness, stress, anxiety, I don't know. It could also be the start of me developing Moving Meditation, which means I can fully restore FP when building/repairing things, essentially. It could also just be my own fixation on making it, because honestly? Having a real lightsaber would be damn awesome.

I shrug it off, and just put it down to nerves for now, and decide to get Hazel and Kara so we can talk. I quickly found Hazel lurking in the dining area, and Kara was a little more difficult to find, so we just resorted to searching the hotel's halls, until after maybe 15 minutes, we found her scrambling around, trying to get things done.

"I can help finish up, if you need the help, Kara. But after that, we need to talk." Kara quickly agrees to take my help, and we have the last floor's work done in about half an hour, and we gather in our room after that to talk.

I pull up the notification from the previous night, and turn it so they can see it. Hazel scowls, and Kara just frowns. "The System doesn't get to decide what I'm willing to talk about. My past isn't related to our mission, so can we just ignore it, please?" Kara insists.

"I wasn't planning on prying. I just figured that I shouldn't hide these things. We're a team, and we need all the information we can get." I say firmly. "The additional money and the personal crystal are good, at least?" Hazel says in an attempt to change the topic.

"Yeah. We need more quests to get money. It wouldn't hurt to start working other jobs, too. I hear there's a drugstore hiring down the street. Maybe a thirty minute walk, unless you want to catch a bus somewhere closer to it." I offer.

"I had heard from Asher in the kitchens that the local library's hiring, too. I can probably work at the drugstore and the kitchens, then when we start ringing in enough money to stay here from that, we can put one of you to work in the library." Hazel adds.

"I'd always be up for working at the library. Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure, and all that jazz. Maybe I can look into the other Empowered on their computers, too." I decide. "If we do find other Empowereds, we know the plan, right?" Kara cuts in.

"We make the safehouse a reality. I can probably expand our clearing, and we can all work to build a house with enough room to store maybe a dozen people, as well as other amenities." I remember. "We can look for a construction company hiring, too. Might not hurt for one of us to get experience with that, as well as architecture in general." Hazel adds on.

"Sounds like a plan, then. Let's take some time to work on all this, then, and I'm gonna see if I can finish with fitting this personal crystal into the saber." I grin, rubbing my hands together excitedly. Could you blame me? Our mission is gaining traction. I have every right to be excited.

As such, I scurried off to finish working with my lightsaber. I really get the feeling that I'm getting close to finishing it. Hour after hour flew by again, before I heard hushed voices whispering to each other, causing me to turn on Force Sight, only to behold the hotel manager and a police officer, both of which were surrounded by a burning red outline.

Hey again, maybe 30 minutes later. I'm thinking about maybe getting in one more chapter today, then I might take a pause, because I'm catching up with the written chapters with how fast I'm updating right now. So I might take a short break to write a lot more, then start updating more consistently if I can.

But yeah, as I said maybe half an hour ago, have a great day/afternoon/evening/night, wherever and whenever you may be reading this!
