Y/n's POV:
We soon got to a park and decided to sit on the swings. We chatted about so many topics. From streaming to why crabs are the more cursed version of lobsters. Don't question it.
Anyways, after at least half an hour of talking we decided to run around. We played on the slides and other structures while laughing and cracking jokes. We even decided to play tag and chased each other around the whole park. It was so fun.
When we got too tired to basically move we ended up sitting back on the swings. I decided I was going to tell him how I felt. Nothing was going to stop me this time. I was going to make it short but I would do it.
"Hey Tom?" I said.
"Yeah?"
"I like you. I felt like you should know," I told him simply, like it was so easy to say despite me almost dying from nerves.
"Really?" He asked.
"Mhm," I nodded.
"Well, I, uh, like you too."
I froze for a few seconds before finally processing what he said.
"Uh, wanna be my boyfriend?" I finally got out.
"Yes!" He answered.
Out of pure joy in that moment, he jumped up and kissed me.
He quickly backed away and apologized. I cut him off with another kiss and he kissed back. I pulled away from the kiss after a few seconds and then pulled him into a hug.
We stood there and hugged for what felt like hours but was really only a few minutes.
"I didn't think you would actually like me back," I laughed.
He also laughed before basically giving me a whole speech about how he had suffered with his feelings for me.
We ended up going back to our houses. I walked him home and kissed him on his doorstep before he went inside.
Once I got home I texted him and asked him if I could tell my friends. He said yes.
I went straight (or gay) to telling all of my friends through our group chat. They all ended up saying stuff along the lines of "FUCKING FINALLY" as I laughed.
I continued on with the rest of my afternoon. I went live on twitch for a bit, ate some food, went live on TikTok, and finally ended my day thinking about Tommy as I fell asleep.
