AN: Here it is, the final chapter. I'm gonna save my sappy little thank you message for the next part so you won't have to scroll through it to get to the actual chapter.

I should note, as per the chapter title and throughout the chapter itself, this does take place two years into the future.

(Also, sure, Nick tags along with the pack, but let's just assume he has no clue that this "Puppy Pack" is a formal entity for the sake of me not knowing how to fill a plot hole.)

Anyways, enjoy!

"Here we are," Gabe exclaimed as he, Nolan, Katie, and I pulled up to the school in late August 2015 (We now return to "Top Five Reasons Why Charlie Wanted To Move Back To Regina As Soon As We Got Here!" And at number four, we have the fact that we now had to go back to school in August instead of September), "First day of senior year!"

"And junior year!" Katie added as we all clobbered out of Gabe's car.

It had been almost two years since the war, and a fair bit had changed for the good. The four of us, along with Connor Duffy, had become members of the Puppy Pack, bringing the pack-friend total up to nine (Friends! Yay!). We always did this thing on full moon nights where the supernaturals of the group (Liam, Theo, Corey, and Connor) would go out in the woods with their other supernatural friends and do their thing, while the humans of the group (Me, Katie, Nolan, Gabe, and Mason) would hang out at one of our houses and watch movies. Sometimes the guys would go along with the supernaturals, but I never did because I didn't want anything to take any chances with my PTSD (Unlike Gabe, who kept going no matter how many episodes he had). Sometimes Nick, along with Gabe and Nolan's other friend from Lacrosse, Carter Norton, would tag along if they weren't busy.

Nolan and I were still going as strong as ever, and Gabe and Katie got together the day of the memorial service. A few months after the war ended, Liam and Theo put two and two together and found out that they were, in fact, soulmates. In terms of how it happened, your guess is as good as mine, but at that point, they'd been together for a year and a half.

As for the well-being of the supernatural community, more people knew about it at that time than ever before. Thankfully, most people were very much pro-werewolf-rights, but there were a select few (i.e: Josh, Brett, and Joey) who fully joined the hunters. According to Liam, they'd gone undercover after the war, as there had been a warrant for Monroe's arrest for the past two years. The hunter's overseer - what was his name again? Gerard? - was killed the same night Brian was. For the second time in my life, I had zero remorse.

Speaking of Monroe, apparently, she never did find out that Gabe was the one who shot up that house and not Nolan. The pack, however, did. They were hesitant to forgive Gabe at first, but after they found out why he did what he did (i.e, to protect his friend from Monroe's wrath), they reluctantly did. Thankfully, no one pressed charges, even after Gabe admitted he had to kill someone while on the job. I think Gabe said the guy's name was - Edgar? either way, he called what he did "amature euthanasia", since the half of the Anuk-ite possessing Aaron mauled him to the brink of death. Katie wouldn't talk to him for a week after she found out, but she eventually forgave him. I'm afraid to say what would have become of Gatie had they not been soulmates.

As we took our bags out of the trunk, Nolan spoke up.

"Y'know," He stated, "I look around at these kids I've known all my life, and I ask myself; 'What happened?'"

"How many Heathers references are you two gonna make today?" I asked the two guys.

"Imma be honest, several," Gabe answered as Nolan laughed along. I guess this was mine and Katie's fault for getting them into Broadway Musicals, one of them being Heathers.
