AN: Hi! I hope you're enjoying the fic thus far.

Remember when I tagged the fic with "Depictions of Violence" or something like that? Well, this is one of the instances where said tag would apply. This is the part of Teen Wolf where Aaron and Gabe go around cutting people's hands to see if they heal in order to find out who's supernatural and who isn't. Aaron, not knowing Alice's relations to Gabe, does this test on her. The cutting itself is not described in detail, but I wanted to warn you in advance just in case.

Also, there is a Harry Potter reference in here. I mention this because I'd like to make it clear that I DO NOT claim JKR, nor do I claim her disgusting and transphobic views (Don't worry; When all this comes to light, Alice drops JKR too).

Without further ado, let's get right to it.

The following Monday morning, I was sitting in Mrs. Finch's science class, alone, when Aaron walked in. His hand was jammed in his pocket as if he was holding something in there. If the way Mason was walking on my first day was suspicious, this was a field of red flags.

"Hey, Alice," Aaron said as he came over to me, "Pardon the abruptness, but can I see your arm for a minute?"

"Um, okay... Why though?" I questioned. With that, he sat down at the desk in front of me as I held out my arm (a horrible decision really).

"I'm testing the entire student body to see who's supernatural and who's not - y'know, for safety reasons."

"How does that work?"

"Well, it requires a little pain on your part," On that note, he pulled out a little scalpel from his pocket.

Pain? I thought to myself as I felt my face go white with fear. Great, yet another thing I needed to worry about.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't consent to this," I stated.

"Why?" Aaron asked, a bit more condescending this time "Are you one of them?"

"No."

"Okay, then cooperate."

"Why should I have to?"

"Everyone gets tested."

"But why should I?"

"'Cause if you don't, everyone's gonna think you're a werewolf or something."

There was silence before he spoke again. My brain was telling me to put my arm away, but I was too stunned by Aaron's request to actually do it.

"Don't worry. It's just a little cut; Don't even hurt that much."

Suddenly Aaron grabbed my arm. I struggled to get it away from him, but it was no use. He took the scalpel to the back of my hand and made a small, yet excruciatingly painful cut.

I yelped in pain and he finally let go. What did I ever do to him?!

"Alright, now we wait," Aaron said, suddenly calm.

"Wait?" I inquired, tears streaming down my face, "For what?"

"For you to heal. If you don't heal in the next thirty seconds, I'll know you're telling the truth."

As he sat there across from me, counting seconds in his head, Gabe walked into the room with a roll of gauze in his hand (which, to this day, I still don't know how he got ahold of).

"Hey, Katie never healed. I really don't know why you don't like her. She seems pretty..." He trailed off as he noticed the blood seeping from my hand and the fear in my face, which was wet with tears. He then looked at Aaron with the kind of rage in his eyes that I had never seen in anyone before.
