So, as the girls lay there, in pain, confused, and hungry, a centaur, apparently that goes by the name of Chiron, calls for two people to come over.

Were the girls going absolutely crazy? No, they were just demigods, and they didn't know it. And we all know, with a demigod life, crazy and questionable things happen.

Chiron smiled as the two people, that go by the names Leo and Nico, walked up to the porch. "Hello, boys. Can you feed these two girls ambrosia? Many of the Apollo campers are tending to the wounded." The two boys replied with a nod, and they walked off inside the house.

The old centaur sighed. "Well, Katerina, Nicole, that's Leo Valdez and Nico Di'Angelo. They'll be taking care of you for the time being, just giving you ambrosia until you feel ready for your tour. So, welcome to Camp Half Blood."

They both smiled a small smile at the centaur before he cantered off into the house.

A few minutes later, a boy with tan skin and curly hair and another boy in an aviators jacket with messy black hair came out into the porch with glasses in their hands.

"Hey, I'm Leo Valdez; the Super-sized McShizzle in the flesh," the one who looked like a Latino Santa's elf said proudly. He had an impish grin that screamed mischief, grease stains littering his face and arms in various places. He wore a white button-up with brown overalls and pants.

He handed a glass of what looked like iced tea to Kat, which she looked at skeptically. He chuckled. "It's not poison. Quite the opposite, actually."

Kat raised her eyebrows, staying silent. She was very confused, and how could she trust a person she just met?

The boy in the aviators jacket handed Nikki the glass silently. He was really only doing this because Chiron asked. Nikki held it in her hand, eyeing the liquid.

She shrugged and took a sip. When the taste of strawberry cheesecake hit her tongue, her eyes widened and she pulled the glass away from her slowly.

"What the fuck?" She muttered in confusion.

Kat looked over to her. "What? Is it poison?" She asked accusingly.

Nikki shook her head. She tilted her head to the left. "Try it," she said as she brought the straw back to her lips.

Kat wasn't too trusting of it. She looked to Nikki, then to the smiling elf kid. She sighed, bringing the straw to her lips.

It tasted like cookies. Kat pulled it away from her mouth quickly.

"Why does it taste like cookies? Not that I mind," Kat said, placing the glass beside her.

Nikki tilted her head at Kat. "It tastes like strawberry cheesecake, to me," she said quietly.

Leo smiled widely and chuckled. "Its nectar. It's supposed to taste like your favorite food," he explained.

Nikki and Kat nodded, Nikki still taking small sips of the nectar.

"Could you tell us why it looks like we're in a Greek military training camp?" Nikki asked quietly between sips.

Leo laughed. "It's Camp Half-Blood. The only safe place for demigods. You two are demigods, and you came here. Usually, you're supposed to come when you're twelve-"

"We're fifteen." Nikki interrupted.

Leo nodded. "Right. Which is why it's so weird. Usually people come when they're twelve."

Kat listened, sipping her drink, then stopped abruptly. "Wait, demigods?"

Leo nodded. "Only demigods can get past the magic barrier. That means you two are demigods, like us and everyone else at this camp."

Nikki sat with her legs crossed. "This explains a lot."

Kat nodded in agreement. She looked to the other boy, who hasn't said a word, not even his name. How polite.

The other boy, Nico, leaned against the wall of the house. "I'm Nico Di'Angelo," he mumbled.

Kat nodded. She directed her next words to both boys. "I'm Katerina Greene. And this little stargazer is Nicole Stone," she gestured to the girl sitting next to her. Nikki didn't like talking especially.

Leo smiled. "Nice to meet you both. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."
