I've been insanely busy
School and a family member passing away.
I've also been in and out of the hospital
I've also had a really bad case of writer's block.

~Daisy's POV~

He can't be my mate

'lookup.'

'Why?'

'Just look up.'

I look up and make eye contact with Alpha Xander.

We hold eye contact

From the corner of my eye, I see someone walk over and crouch next to me.

And I know exactly who it is.

I smell the best smell ever. very manly, smoke, rain, woods, sandalwood, campfire.

'told you he was our mate.'

'i know. But we still can't trust him.'

I cut her off knowing she going to try and change my mind.

Why am I still looking him in the eyes? He will punish me for looking him in the eyes.

"I'm not going to hurt you. Can you please tell me your name?" He said softly.

I open my mouth but close it immediately after. If I speak he will punish me.

I should tell him my name. Right?

"Daisy," I said so quietly.

"Daisy, can you tell me how old you are?" He said. I felt a shiver go down my spine when he said my name

"I-im 1-17," I said quietly.

"I'm Xander. I'm your Mate." He said while sitting next to me.

I know he's lying. Alpha Dylan is my mate. Right?

"He's not your mate. He lied to you daisy."

"But he said he wasn't"

"Trust me daisy. Please. I know he was lying."

"I trust you.....?"

I tried to move away from him but that only caused me to move more into the corner.

"Can I hold your hand?" He asked.

I shook my head no.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Why would you do that? I'm so stupid. No wonder everyone hates me. I would hate myself too.

I need to get home. Alpha Dylan will kill me if I don't.

"A-alpha X-Xander," I said.

"Yes?" He said softly

"C-can y-you t-take m-me h-home. P-please." I said with tears rolling down my cheeks.

I'm such a crybaby.

He started growling.

Why is he growling? Was it because I started talking without permission? Or is it because I started crying?

"I'm not taking you back there. You're my Mate now. You will stay here. Where no one can hurt you again." He said while still looking at me. He looks mad.
