Something New (Chifuyu x Fem Reader)

A Dinner Incident

Chifuyu and I walked side by side down the sidewalk. It was warm out with a cool breeze, my favorite type of weather. As we walked I got to know a little bit more about Chifuyu, like that he liked cats and had a cat named Peke J. He lived in the apartment complex down the street in room 26. He has a motorcycle. And he lives alone.

I feel like it would be sad to live alone. No one to talk to. Nobody to take care of you when you're sick. I'll have to visit him sometime.

Grrrrrr. My stomach growled. "What restaurant are we going to?" I asked hungrily. 

"Whatever Mikey picked." Chifuyu said chuckling. I smiled at what he said. Mikey was like a child in a sixteen year olds body. It seemed he liked anything that involved food, sleep, sweets, the list goes on. I feel like this would bother me, but Mikey was just too cute.

We turned a corner and there stood Mikey, Draken, a familiar blonde and his girlfriend, and a blonde girl. 

"Hey guys!" Chifuyu said smiling.

"Y/n I didn't know you knew Chifuyu?" Takemichi said. 

"I didn't know you knew him!" I said and we both laughed. Hina came and gave me a huge. She pulled me over the the blonde girl.

"Y/n this is Emma, she is Mikeys sister." Hina said.

"It's nice to meet you!" I said smiling.

"You better treat Chifuyu well." Emma said before smiling and hugging me. Why- Oh my gosh she thinks were dating!

"I- Chifuyu, were-" I stammered

"Oh hush not yet of course." She said smiling even more. And i'm positive it was from my reaction. I felt my face heat up. I quickly hide my face behind my hands. 

"What happened to your wrist?" Emma and Hina asked at the same time. My wrist was still bandaged but I'd cover it up with a long sleeved shirt. I told them the story and that it was how I met Mikey and Draken. After the story they both hugged me. It felt so nice to know people like them.

"All right I'm hunger!" Mikey announced. Everyone else agreed and we entered a Ramen shop. We took a seat at a booth. We all ordered are ramen, but Mikey ordered an omlet?! 

"Mikey this is a ramen shop, why would you order an omlet?" Draken asked.

"I wanted a flag." was all that Mikey said.

I chuckled and went back to talking with Hina and Emma. We were sitting on one side of the booth will the boys were on the other side. Emma told me she liked Draken and I was so excited. I had never had a friend group were I could talk about stuff like this. Hina and Emma ended up talking to Takemichi and Draken, so I started talking to Chifuyu. It was like that for a few minutes before Mikey blurted out: 

"I feel like I'm seventh wheeling." 

"WHAT?!" Emma, Draken, Chifuyu, and I all said. Hina and Takemichi started giggling while we scolded Mikey. We were all quiet for a few minutes after that. Are food arrived during those few minutes. We all slurped away at are noodles, while Mikey munched on his eggs and rice. 

"I'll be right back I need to use the restroom." I said and excused myself from the table. I quickly went to the bathroom and washed my hands. When I stepped out of the bathroom, someone stepped in front of me. 

"Hey pretty lady." a disgusting guy said winking at me, "Wanna come to my place tonight?"

"No thanks." I said and tried to walk around him, but he stepped in front of me again.

"Come on, we could have some fun." He said stepping closer. I didn't say anything and tried to get around him again. This time he grabbed my wrist and pushed me against the wall. I started to kick and punch him but he grabbed my other wrist. My hurt wrist started to hurt slightly. 

"Let go of me!" I shouted still fighting against him. I could feel that I was about the cry.

"I don't think so." He whispered in my ear. Suddenly his grip loosened and he fell to the ground at my feet. He quickly got to his feet and ran out of the building.

"Are you alright?" A familiar voice asked. I knew exactly who it was. I through myself against Chifuyu gripping his shirt. The tears were flowing down my face now. He didn't ask anything else and just wrapped his arms around me. We stood there for a little bit. Once I calmed down I backed away from him.

"Did he hurt you?" Chifuyu asked seriously. I shook my head and I heard him sigh. "Everyone is waiting outside."

"Can-can we just stay here a little longer?" I asked sniffling. He nodded and I leaned me head against his chest. He just stroked my head. I don't know how long we were there but it was long enough to have are friends come looking for us.

"What are you guys doing over here?" Emma asked. I jumped away from Chifuyu.

"i-its not-" I stammered but was interrupted. 

"Whatever." Emma said in a teasing voice walking to the door, "Are you guys coming?" I ran after Emma.

"What took so long?" Mikey asked.

I was about to answer but Emma did before me. "She was still in the bathroom." Emma gave me a smile and I smiled back. She then came closer and whispered in my ear, "You know i'm going to tell Hina about this." My face heated up again and I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment. 

"Hey it's only six o'clock, do you guys want to go bowling?" Hinata asked.

"That sounds fun." Chifuyu said coming up behind me.

"Yeah!" Takemichi said.

Chifuyu walked next to me while everyone walked up ahead. The air has gotten chillier as the sun fell behind the clouds. I could hear everyone laughing up ahead. It made me happy hanging out with them. I felt exhausted. I really was an introvert. The breeze got stronger the longer we walked and I had to wrap my arms around me to keep me warm. I totally forgot to bring a coat and I was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I heard a Chifuyu stop walking. I turned around, He was taking off his sweatshirt. He walk up to me and handed me it. I looked at him confused.

"You're cold right?" He asked. I blushed at why he gave me his sweatshirt, then slipped it on over my head. It went halfway down my thighs and I couldn't see my fingertips. It was warm and smelled like lemons and his cat.

"Thank you." I mumbled my cheeks still warm.

After bowling everyone decided to head back home. Chifuyu and I walked back together. We walked in silence but I liked it. I enjoyed his presence, he made me feel safe. When we showed up at my place, Chifuyu walked me up to the door.

"Thanks for inviting me." I thanked him.

"You're welcome." He said smiling. I loved his smile. I suddenly got a weird feeling in my stomach. 

"hey could I get your number?" Chifuyu asked.

"Yea!" I took his phone and entered in my number. I thanked him again for inviting me then went inside. I slipped off my shoes then ran up to my bedroom and flopped onto my bed. What a night. I walked into my bathroom to get ready for bed and I realized. I forgot to give him his sweatshirt back! I'll just give it back tomorrow.
