My legs and chest burned. I raced around the corner and slid into the subway right as the doors shut. I almost missed my train. I found a seat and sat down. I was breathing so hard it hurt.
I got stuck at school again. Tanaka made me update the school ledger. Again. It took me a hour just because the guy in charge of updating it hadn't updated it in seven months. I would have thought it would take less time since are school doesn't spend to much money on stuff... but I had to go through the principles computer to find everything I needed. And yes I did have permission.
I have gotten pretty close with the principle. He's a nice man. Always greeting the students in the morning. When I first join the student council, I had to go to the principles office for what I was looking for. We ended up talking a lot and I sometimes eat lunch with him while we work on school stuff.
The ten minute ride felt like nothing. I may have fallen asleep because I don't remember anything. When I heard the subway driver announce that we were pulling up to my stop, I pulled my bag over my shoulder and stood up. I stumbled as the the train came to a stop. I steady myself and followed everyone off. I walked home in silence. I felt so off today. When I got home I took my shoes off and ran upstairs. I changed out of my school uniform and put on some comfortable shorts and a large t-shirt. I grabbed my bag and pulled out my homework. It took me roughly thirty minutes to finish it. I was so exhausted. As I went to lay down on my bed a noticed Chifuyus sweatshirt laid out on it. I just remembered I was going to give it back to him today.
I slipped on a jacket and some shoes and started to walk towards Chifuyu's apartment. I looked at my phone looking for his address he sent me. I walked up the stairs to the second floor. I wandered down the hallway till I got to a door that had the name Matsuno attached to it. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. I waited a few minutes before the door opened.
"Oh hey Y/N! I didn't know you were coming." Chifuyu said with his signature smile.
"I didn't know I was either till I remembered I needed to return your sweatshirt." I said holding out his sweatshirt.
"Oh thanks I totally forgot I gave it to you." He said taking it. I was about to start heading home but Chifuyu started talking again. "Would you like to come inside a little bit?"
"I don't know. I should head back." I said rubbing my arm.
"Aw come on. I'm so bored and I want to hang out with you." He said holding to door more open. I was about to say no, but I realized he said 'you' not someone. He really wanted to hang out with me? What's so fun about me that makes him want to hang out with me? "Pretty please." He asked again pretending to pout. It was kind of adorable.
"Ok, but I need to go home soon so just for a little bit." I said giving in. Chifuyu just smiled and I walked inside his apartment. I would have thought it would be messy but it was neat and tidy. I plopped down on his couch. Oh my gosh he had a comfortable couch. Chifuyu came and sat next to me and grabbed to TV remote.
"Is there something you want to watch or do?" Chifuyu asked, "I have video games and lots of movies." I had never play a video game before. It made me curious.
"Could we play a game?" I asked.
"Sure!" he said, "Is there a certain game you want to play?"
"I have never played a video game before... so no." I said rubbing the back of my neck. Chifuyu looked at me like I was crazy. He didn't say anything and grabbed a game.
"We're going to play this." When it showed up on the TV I recognized the game. Mario Cart 8. I had seen a lot of ads and signs about it, but it never interested me enough to play it. Chifuyu handed me a remote and explained how the controls worked. The first round I was super confused and failed miserably. The second round I started to get the hang of it. We played this for a few more rounds, not one of them I won. Just as we were finishing are 8th round, my stomach growled.
"Do you want some yakisoba?" Chifuyu asked. Yakisoba sounded so good at the moment. I nodded my head and he stood up and walked into the kitchen.
"Do you want to turn something on the TV?" Chifuyu asked.
"Sure." I said taking the remote and started scrolling through the options on Netflix. I settled for a comedy, Saiki K. After Chifuyu put are yakisoba in the microwave he came and sat down next to me. Through out the episode we laughed so hard are stomachs hurt. After the episode I noticed a weird smell.
"Does something smell?" I asked.
"Yea... it smells bur.." He never finished his sentence because the fire alarm started to go off. Chifuyu shot up and ran to the kitchen. I ran to the door and opened it to let the the room air out. I opened up a few of the windows and I realized how smokey it was. I ran into the kitchen wondering what Chifuyu was doing. He was pulling a burnt yakisoba out of the microwave.
"How did you burn the yakisoba?!" I asked.
"I accidentally set the timer to thirty minutes." He said putting the yakisoba into the sink. I couldn't help it, I busted out laughing. Chifuyu started to laugh too. I laughed so hard I was crying.
It was going to take a while to air out his apartment, so I invited him to have dinner at my place. He agreed and we left his apartment, leaving a few windows open. Mom was delighted to have Chifuyu stay for dinner. Mom always liked to cook dinner for people. As we waited we played a board game with dad and Bella. Dad and Chifuyu were really competitive. Chifuyu ened up winning and Dad was trying not to act like a sore loser. We then ate a delicious meal and Chifuyu acted like he had known my family for so long. He was so welcoming and carefree, he didn't let things bother him or get embarrassed easily. That night was one of my favorites. It had been awhile since we had done something like that.
When Chifuyu left, Bella, Mom, and Dad wouldn't stop talking about how much they liked him and how much they wanted me to marry him. What?! We meet each other like a week ago! I just told them we were only friends, nothing more. It kind of hurt saying that though. I didn't understand why. We were only friends and that what we were always going to be...right?

Sorry if I haven't been posting all that much. I had run out of ideas, again. I'm going to try and post a chapter at least once a week. This week tho will be a little hard for me to write another chapter so it might take awhile to come out.
