11. Date

...Ara...

It was finally sunday, Early evening there was a delivery boy at the door, I thought it was Eric at first but then when I opened the gift I saw a beautiful frilly knee length black skirt and along with it an emerald green top that bought life to my eyes, before I could even open the gift card I received a text,
"wearr the dress, leave your hair open and look hot..
            -Samxoxo..."

Typical. Later I went into my room and got dressed the moment I finished there was a honk which indicated that Eric was here. I clipped my sandals and descended downstairs. I locked the house and walked towards Eric, he looked hot, he was dressed up in a simple jeans and white button-down, he handed me a bouquet of purple orchids and opened the door then he went up to his side and got in. The destination was still a mystery because no matter how hard I try Eric won't budge.

When the car stopped I looked out of the car and the view confused me further we were on the outskirts of our college. He took my hand and dragged me along. The only question in my mind was how the hell did he manage to get the college open at this point of time.

He took me to the 7th floor which was our hall.

"You remember this place, this is where I saw you for the first time with Samaira. You were here to talk to your sister and Sean had challenged me to ask Sam out for the college dance, just because I hated her guts, since you two are identical twins I presumed that you were Sam and asked you out. And talking about luck you even said yes."

I laughed remembering that incident., then he took me to the open garden outside college. There was a rose shaped fountain here,

"Do you remember this place?" he asked.

"This is where you faced your first refusal from me." I replied.

"Yeah, you were the first one, after knowing you totally I somehow gathered courage to ask you out and you straight away refused me."

After that we left College and went up to the hill from where you could see a beautiful waterfall.

"This is where I had got you when You had a rough break up with Sean. and then we used to come here every weekend."

Later we came up to a beautiful old church. As soon as we walked inside the whole path was covered with rose petals, and with every step a spotlight fell on us.

We were at the middle of the church when Eric knelt to the ground.

"No. No. No." I repeated.

"Shut up, it's not what you think." He said and I shut my mouth.

"You must be wondering why I took you to these places, it's because I think these are a part of our lives. The beautiful time I have spent with you. The craziness, the maturity. I want you to know that I have been with you all the way and I wanna do it all my life. Did you ever know why I left Boston because the Girl I loved was now with someone else be it my brother. I always wanted you with me. You often ask me why don't I move ahead and I say I don't want to but you know what the truth is I want to move ahead but with you. So Miss. Ara Waters this life is a pretty long journey, so will you stay by my side. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I had no idea what to say but for this time I said what my heart wanted to.
"You said you hate my sister, you considered me a bitch for refusing you. You hated me because I was dating your brother. And you expect me to say YES.." I said and his face paled visibly, but before he could react I just pulled him up and smashed my lips to him. After breaking our long passionate make out session we were both breathless. Our breaths were racing and in a coarse voice I said.

"Yes. I will be your girlfriend."
