Aching For Eternity

Part 2: New Phase Of Life

Beta Beta ! a lady around 50/55 was calling some one . Come on dear get up now or else you will be late . This is your first day at work and what impression will you have if you reach late on the very first day . Come on just wake up ,get ready and have your breakfast .

Five more minutes mom ,she shouted from her bedroom. And don't worry I will on time . No not more 5 minutes just wake up now  . Teju just wake up now I don't want to hear anything ,her mom shouted from the kitchen

Teju groaned to herself and got up from tiny yet comfortable bed and walks to the bathroom . 

Teju : Oh god what should I wear today . I need to look good . I hope everything goes fine today . I am very nervous

Today is teju's first day at her office . She has just graduated from the prestigious college in Mumbai .She was every excited for this new phase of her life but was nervous as well since it was her very  first job . 

Teju : How will I be able to cope up with everyone ? Will I be able to make friends ? How will be my seniors and most importantly how will be the working environment ?

Having all these thoughts on her mind ,she just starts to have shower . The warm water was helping to loose her strained muscles. She just took sometime to wash her hair and got changed and walk to kitchen . The aroma of food was making her happy . Food is and will always be her first love ,specially if its cooked by her mom .

Teju : Good morning mom and dad

T's mom : Good morning .Are you ready ? Come have your breakfast 

T's dad : Good morning .excited for the first day of job ?

Teju : Yup . But a bit nervous 

T's dad : Don't be . Everything will be fine ..

Teju : I really hope so . Ok mom dad I am getting late now  I will get going now . Bye ..

T's parent : Bye ... have a good day ..enjoy 

On the other hand a boy was sleeping on his luxurious bed . Karan come on get up you are already late . 

KK [looking into time] : Oh god .. I am late again. 

He quickly took shower ,changed and walks toward kitchen .

KK : Good morning mom and dad

K's mom : Good morning .You are again late karan .

k's dad : Whats new on that 

KK : Oh come on dad..

k's dad : First of all I just don't get the point karan . We have our established business and you are just not ready to help me with that . Being a son of well known businessman you want to work as a normal employee in some random company ..

KK :  Dad we have already had this conversation before . I just want to be independent and I love what I am doing .

K' dad : But just think about me karan ... I am getting old and you ....

KK: Sorry dad I am getting late now . We will talk about this later ...bye mom ...bye dad

K's mom : Karan atleast have your breakfast 

KK : I will eat something in office mom 

k's parent : Ok Bye ... have a good day

Teju reached her office . The company was well reputed one and teju was happy that she got her job there . She went inside . She didn't know anyone and was getting nervous . The HR reach to her ask her to wait since there are few procedure that she needs to complete before staring her job . After some some few more new employee came they were also asked to wait . While waiting they slowly started to have conversation . She got to know they were in different department . 

After almost 2 hours all the procedure and orientation is completed and teju's manager asked her to come to the 3rd floor where her department is located . She went there and a short introduction session happened . Her manager helped her to understand her work flow and how things will be carried out . She was excited to learn new things. Day passed slowly and she got familiar with some of her colleagues and seniors.

Karan also works in the same company since last one year . He was in different department than that of  teju . He was very hardworking and helpful person . 

Day passed and their office time ends and everyone bid goodbyes to each other and left for their house . Teju's house was not very far so she decided to take a walk . She reached home after some time . Her father wasn't back form his work and her mom was cooking dinner .

Teju : I am back mom and I am very hungry . 

T's mom : Dinner is ready dear just go and freshen up .

Teju then went to her room got changed in her night wear and went to kitchen .Her father was also back till then and they started to have dinner 

T's dad: So how was your first day ?

Teju : Good dad . I was nervous about works and people but everything was good . Colleagues were kind enough to help me out in works.

T's dad: Thats good 

They finished their dinner and went to sleep in their respective rooms

Teju : My day was good .. People were good .. I hope I can learn many thing and even enjoy my work life more .. I am loving this new phase of my life 

On the other hand karan and his friend decided to go out for dinner . He informed his parent that he will be late and will have his dinner with friends . They were party animals . Karan fully enjoyed his time with friends and after dinner he reached home very late ..

KK: Oh shit ! Its too late ... I really need to sleep or else I will again be late for office tomorrow 

Then he just freshen up changed to night clothes and slept ...

So here is the end of  first part of the story . Now how will they meet and have their conversation . How will be their equations we will slowly know in next parts..
