Part 42: Epilogue

It been a year after the engagement. Vidhi had given birth to a baby boy. Teju and kk were happy in their life . They were having a good professional and personal life.

It was a holiday. Kk and teju both were sleeping peacefully cuddling to each other . Slowly kk woke up. Teju was sleeping like a baby.

Kk (pov) : Having her in my arms is a bless. She does everything for me and I am glad that I have her.

Teju then woke up. She looked towards kk.Kk was staring at her.

Teju : Goodmorning sunny..when did you wake up ??

Kk: a while ago..

Teju : Ok Let me get up and prepare breakfast for you.

Kk : No I want to be with you....we can order something...

Teju : But I want to make it...

Suddenly kk's phone rang. Kk got up from the bed and went to balcony to talk.

Teju(pov) : What is this? He never does that..whose call it might be that kk has to go far from me to talk..

Kk came back after ending the call.

Teju : Whose call was that??

Kk : Ummm. Work call..

Teju knew he was telling lie but she didn't question  more..

Kk : Ok Let me order something now.

Teju didn't argue .They both got ready and had their breakfast. Whole day went normally.Watching movies and all.Then at evening teju was cooking dinner and kk again received a call. He again went a bit far from teju at started talking in the call

Teju (pov) : Why is he behaving soo weird today ? What is wrong with him? Why is going far after each call. This is weird. Is he hiding something from me ? Should I ask him ? No teju don't doubt him..

Kk came back and they had dinner and got ready to sleep.

Days pass and kk was behaving more and more weird as if he was hiding something from her. Her birthday was around the corner but she wasn't happy. She was upset from kk's changed behavior but she didn't want to argue with him.

On her birthday eve,she was expecting kk will wish her .The clock hit 12 but kk didn't wish .He was fast asleep .Teju was hoping he would get up and wish her..surprise her but nothing happened

Teju (pov): He didn't  wish me. Does he not remember my birthday? Is he that bored of me now ..

Teju was upset and tears started to flow from her eyes .Then slowly she felt asleep.

Next day morning teju woke up ,got ready and prepared breakfast. Kk woke up ,got ready and came down . Even when he saw teju he didn't reacted much .He just had the breakfast, wished her good day and left for office.

Teju was shocked. She was expecting to have a blast on her birthday with kk but it seems like kk doesn't even remember her birthday.

kk didn't even message her whole day.

It was almost evening teju got call from KM

KM: Teju ..

Teju : Yes mamma.

Km: Baby can you come to our house fast ..Your dad ..he is unwell and I can't reach to kk ..He isn't picking my calls ..please I am scared please..

Teju : No worries mamma I will be there soon.I am leaving  right now.

They ended the call. Teju packed few essentials and on way she called kk multiple times but he didn't pick so she drop a message to him. After 2 hours drive she reached there the house was a bit dark .Door was opened .
