Confusion

"So tell me what happened." Scarlett was confronting Klairee the day after.

"He explained himself." Klairee started.

"What? Why?" Scarlett was so eager.

"After the university party, he explained himself to me. That she was his ex girlfriend who went to the states and just came back and appeared from the crowd that night."

"And what about during the party?"

"Oh my gush I was so shocked to know that he is a professor. How come none of you informed me? I looked so innocent infront of him."

"Wait, what? You didn't know?"

"He's right. He didn't tell me cause he thought I already knew. I felt so betrayed that night you know."

Klairee said while laughing at herself and Scarlett was also laughing at her.

"So you two are something now?"

"What? No!!!!"

"So what's with the explanation from him?"

"He said he just explained because he doesn't want me to misunderstand him."

"Why does he care?"

"No idea." Klairee kept it from Scarlett that Darren told her he liked her. Truth was, she didn't know whether it was too early to let her know or maybe she wouldn't tell her about it at all. "No, I'll tell her later." She thought.

"Yeah, it's me." Klairee answered her phone.

"Hey, Klairee. Are you home? Can I come over?" Darren asked.

"Yup I am. Sure." She immediately heard a knock on her door right after she hung up.

"So quick."

"Was already here when I called."

"Is something urgent?"

"None, really. Have you eaten yet? I brought some food." He offered a bag full of food.

"Whoaahh. This would make me gain a lot. Hahaha. But yah, I'm hungry. Shall we?"

"Of course. I know you liked beef steak so I brought you some."

"Really? Wow it's worth starving for."

"Here you go." Darren opened the box for her and prepared her cutlery.

She tried it and yeah, it's delicious. "I love it. Thank you very much." She uttered.

They enjoyed the food together and after devouring all the food that Darren brought they both fell in the sofa feeling so full and tired.

"Do you wanna go for a walk?" Darren invited her.

"You sure it's fine for a professor to go out for a walk with a student?"

"Of course. It's not like you're a minor?"

"Let's go?" He stood up and offered a hand to Klairee and as she stood up she came too close to him that their faces met. Darren slowly bent down to reach her lips. When she didn't resist again, and she even smiled at him, Darren kissed her the second time. She then slowly put her arms around him as he held her face and her waist. That was quite long.

They both went for a walk in the park in order to burn the calorie that they have just consumed.

"Do you have a hobby aside from singing?" Darren opened the conversation as he noticed she was too quiet.

"None in particular. But I do love writing short stories."
