Chapter 3 - Faking Trust

[Y/N] POV

I woke up, feeling like absolute crap, what did those little whiny humans and dragons do to me?! I look around seeing that I am in a cage, and behind it were the little humans and dragons that managed to survive my attacks, not like I intended to kill them, but still. I roared in anger and started thrashing around, firing shots all around my cage as I heard them panic, "H-hey! Calm down, we won't hurt you-" one of the humans said before I shut them up by reaching out the cage with my arms, almost tearing him apart as I then punch the bar, leading it to dent, the other seems surprised and now cautious, even the dragons. I let a maniacle chuckle as I realized that the cage was supposed to be dragon-proof, not anymore, I channeled Empyrean flames into my hand as I then punch the bar as it dented more, i was about to punch again but then the dragon, night fury, toothless yelled out "STOP! WE WON'T HURT YOU" "and why should i, you are a night fury, and you're siding with a creature that wants us all dead!" i yelled in response as the humans notice us having a conversation "are they communicating?" a female viking with a surprising man like chin said as fat viking butts in "seems like it" "They aren't going to kill us, the dragons and vikings in berk has settled their differences" toothless said as i narrow my eyes at him. Dragons and viking settling their differences? That's hard to believe, but not impossible, "Hah! As if, i am not going to fall on your clutches" i laughed as the night fury growled "for the last time we aren't going to hurt you" "And why would i listen? You can't control an Empyrean Fury!" i said as my wings unfold, an intimidation tactic, the Monstrous nightmare, Zipplebacks, Gronckle, and Deadly nadder fall prey to this intimidation, but not the night fury, it stood its grounds, i growled in irritation as i set own my wings.

No ones POV

the 2 dragons stare at each other none of them breaking eye contact, tensions rise in the room, the 2 often grunted and growled, anger seething the both of their said grunts and growls. All broken up when hiccup cleared his throat, "Ok, we get it, your angry-" Hiccup was cut off by a loud growl from the Empyrean Fury "-Pissed, that you are taken from your home, but please trust us-" hiccup said as he then went inside the cage as the others tried to pull him away, even toothless "Hiccup! What are you doing?!" "You're going to get yourself killed!" "Are you crazy?!" yells erupted from the vikings as [Y/N] backed away from hiccup, thinking he was going to get killed, he roared at hiccup as he raised his hand... and looks away, [Y/N] raised his eyelids [not eyebrows since they don't have that-] as he stared at the vikings hand, something attracted him, but he couldn't, these vikings was the same one that ended his species, and yet he felt the need to connect his hand to the vikings hand. He then thinks for a moment 'If i do, it might get him a sense of trust, and if he feels comfortable enough to let me out with the others, one day, ill escape, and ill fly far from them, dragons, humans, everything, and everyone' and so, he pressed his snout against Hiccups. The others sigh in relief, including the dragons [do dragons even sigh?] at the sight of hiccup NOT losing another appendage. "There you go big guy, were not threats" Hiccup cooed as the Empyrean Fury let out a growl, going into a sitting position, watching him intently with predatory eyes. Hiccup then backed away, before leaving the cage, leaving the Empyrean Fury in the cage, "What were you thinking?! You could have died!" Astrid yelled punching hiccups shoulder "but I didn't" Hiccup said as Astrid groans "Why are you like this?!" Astrid yells again as hiccup says his answer "I guess I am built different". As Astrid scolded hiccup, the others were whispering to eachother about the new dragon "soooo should we feed it?, It looks quite Hungry" Ruffnut started "well yes it does, but I am not going in there and potentially get one of my arms and legs ripped off!" Fishlegs said as Snotlout smirks "someone's scared" "OF COURSE I AM, THAT DRAGON ALMOST KILLED US!" Fishleg Whisper-yelled as Tuffnut butts in "Ah come one, Hiccup tamed it, I am sure you will be fine" "Yeah fishlegs, you don't have anything to worry about" Snotlout said as Fishlegs gulps as he then went on to get a bucket of fish... But both Ruffnut and Tuffnut did something, one of their mischievous pranks, a prank that they did often. Eels, The both of them put eels inside the bucket, Fishlegs came back with the bucket, oblivious to the fact that eels are inside, he then SLOWLY made his away inside the cage and offered the dragon the bucket of fish. Fishlegs then quickly get out of the cage and watch the dragon eat the fish. The dragon looked at the bucket, and then to the chubby Viking, he then peered his head inside, he smelled fish...and eels, he then reached his hand inside, the Vikings were confused on what it was doing, until it pulled out the eel, all the Vikings and dragons look at Ruffnut and Tuffnut immediately with a look that said 'again?' as the 2 laughed. "Ruffnut, Tuffnut, we are dealing with something strong here, Don't do this prank on THIS dragon!" Hiccup grumbled in annoyance, "Hey! It's eating the eel!" Fishlegs shouted as the others looked towards the dragon, and true to Fishlegs words, it was eating the eel, and also the fish aswell the Viking were surprised, the dragons were disgusted. Seeing this, the dragon then put on a mischievous smirk, the others notice this, including the Vikings. "Is it smirking?" Tuffnut said as the others took note of the expression "yeah, i think it's smirking at us!" Fishleg said. [Y/N] 'swallows' the eel then looks at the dragons before...
