while seungmin and jeongin eats ice cream, seungmin realizes he forgot his phone at the dorms.
"shoot, i left my phone at the dorm." seungmin looks for his phone in his bag, making it un-organized. jeongin then looks at seungmin worried, but, doesnt he have his phone?
"um, i need to call chan hyung. can you call him for me?" seungmin asks jeongin while making a call hand sign.
"my phone is... dead."
"do you know the way back to the dorms?"
"no..."
jeongin asked seungmin to go to a far ice cream shop, where they used jeongins phone for the directions. however, both of their phones are dead and gone.

as seungmins phone is filled up with notifications, hyunjin curiously looks at his phone in the living room.
"xen? is that the girl seungmins talking to?" hyunjin takes the phone, and puts seungmins 'secret' password. turns out its just 'seungmininthebuilding'.
"ew, puppymin? yuck! i wonder how he makes friends..."

"yuna, its your turn! my shift ended."
a worker in a ponytail walks to the table of seungmin and jeongin, as she sees them worried. she didnt see that they are actually members of stray kids since they are wearing masks, caps, etc.
A/N: its normal to wear masks in this au since theres also something like covid??? idk lol stay safe btw always wear masks
"what can i help you with?" the girl asks, smiling. her cute smile can be seen with her clear mask.
"no no its fine, we just need like an uber and something but our phones dead-"
"i can give you guys a ride! just need to pay some, money." the girl offers, while seungmin and jeongin look at each other.
"its really fine!"
"do you think i will kidnap you guys- i learned the whole map of south korea, i basically know - everything."
theres a chance the girl is gonna kidnap them, the other chance is actually she gave them a ride.
"we arrived!" the girl stops at the nearest park to the dorm, opening the car locks. seungmin then pays the girl 3000 KRW.
A/N: idk about the taxi prices in korea!! please correct me so i can change it :)
"thank you so much. please keep the change!" seungmin smiles, then they do a 5 minute walk to the dorm.
15 MINUTES AGO
"what are you doing with seungmins phone?" jisung secretly peeks at hyunjin, who is pretending to be seungmin.
"you know the girl that seungmin is talking to? im backreading the messages, and its obvious that he likes her." hyunjin shows the phone to jisung.
"you should... message 'i like you' to her!!"
"yes. but seungmin might kill us."
"but isnt it true?"
"you got a point."

"you arrived kinda late." hyerins dad looks at hyerin while he cooks dinner.
"oh there were a lot of customers!" hyerin takes off her scrunchie, using it as a bracelet.
"you sure? you mostly arrive at 6, its 6 30 already. lets just talk about this after you shower."
hyerin goes upstairs and showers. once she was done getting ready, her dad finished cooking and the table is already set. she goes downstairs to the dining room and gets her phone. she sits down with her family.
"so? what happened hyerin?" her dad asks hyerin kindly, without showing dissapointment and anger.
"hm? did something happen to hyerin, dad?" hyerins younger brother asks innocently.
"ah, well i just gave my friends a ride." hyerin wasnt really lying, but they werent her friends.

"we're back!" jeongins sudden loud voice makes hyunjin press the 'i like you' message to hyerin, then he throws the phone to the floor smiling like nothing happened.
seungmin sees the phone at the kitchen... floor.
"i didnt leave my phone there..." seungmin picks up his phone, surprised to see the notifications from hyerin. he first pressed the message where he left his phone, and questions why he messaged her when he didnt even have his phone with him.
