It was a miracle how much Marcy had recovered. She could stand, thanks to the help of some potions from Maddie, and her breathing was steady. She mostly hung out with Lady Olivia, who was thrilled that she was alive, while Sasha organized the rebellion, which was growing now that they had an entire base inside the Plantar's secret basement.

More frogs were fleeing to Wartwood, trying to get away from the frobots that terrorized towns. The sky in Amphibia wasn't blue anymore. The environment was being destroyed as Andrias churned out more and more frobots from factories.

When Marcy first saw how bad it was outside, she began to cry into Sasha's shoulder. Lady Olivia also had a pained look anytime she went outside.

The day started similar to any others. Bleak, for one, two frogs arrived at the town's gates looking for a place to stay, and Sasha welcomed them into the resistance, then she decided to patrol the outskirts of town, and Marcy begged to go with her.

Sasha and Marcy walked along the fence that lined the town, not talking much because they didn't have much to say. Sasha figured it wouldn't be long until Marcy got tired of walking, since she hadn't been walking much for long periods of time, but Marcy seemed determined to walk with Sasha all the way around the town.

As they neared the woods along the edge of the town, Sasha got an uneasy feeling, she moved in front of Marcy, looking suspiciously towards the bushes. Marcy paused, confusion evident on her face, but she knew better than to say anything. The bushes rustled, and General Yunan stumbled out.

She walked awkwardly, and her eyes looked dazed and almost.. purple.

"General Yunan! " Marcy gasped, clearly ecstatic to see a familiar face.

"Marcy, don't-" Sasha started to say, suspicious of Yunan's odd appearance.

Marcy pushed past Sasha and walked closer to Yunan, who's eyes focused on Marcy, confused, then determined. The bushes rustled again, and a horned wormlike creature slithered out, a spiky purple collar around it's neck.

Sasha yelped as it lunged at her, and she quickly pulled out her sword and swung at the beast. Her blow knocked into the collar and sent it clattering to the ground. The beast froze, looked at the collar, then slithered back into the bushes.

"Whew, that was wei- Marcy?! " Sasha whirled around, realizing she was alone.

Sasha lunged into the bushes frantically looking for Marcy. She can't be far can she? Sasha heard a noise and ran towards it, hopping a fence into a field and seeing something that made her heart drop into her stomach.

A frobot was holding Marcy, who was unconscious and another frobot dragged away Yunan, who was struggling against it. Another, smaller collar was on the ground beside her.

Putting two and two together, Sasha assumed what she could about the collars and Yunan, but remembered Marcy and ran towards her as the frobot flew from the ground.

"Marcy, no!" Sasha screamed, the frobot just out of reach.

Tears streamed down her face as the frobot got farther away, and she whirled around to face Yunan. Sasha sliced through the frobot Yunan was struggling with in one hit and held her sword to Yunan's neck.

"What. The hell. Was that. " Sasha snarled.

"I swear I have no idea! One second me and Liv were trying to escape, then Andrias caught me and put that- thing on me. Then I snap back to myself here and that frobot thing was about to fly me away!" Yunan ducked back from the sword and picked up the broken collar from the ground.

"It- He was controlling you? " Sasha asked.

Yunan nodded, "I'm so sorry about Marcy, but from what I heard before we tried to escape, he wants her alive. The fact that he needed her now proves that he needs her for something. "

The weight of the events suddenly crashed down into Sasha, and she covered her mouth to smother a sob.

"I... I had just gotten her back... " Sasha whimpered.

Yunan looked at Sasha sympathetically, "Kid.. Don't beat yourself up. If it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I let myself get captured-"

"No! It's Andrias! It was all Andrias! He hurt Marcy! I'll never let him hurt her again... Come with me, we've been forming a resistance. I swear on my life we will take him down. "
