Chapter 4

ROSIE POV

I was driving home, remembering the things happened today. The way Jennie unnie fell... I'm not supposed to laugh but it was funny lmaoo.

I could see trees and birds chirping around me, and since it was late afternoon, the view looked beautiful than ever.

Me, Jennie unnie, Jisoo unnie and Lisa have our homes at this place no one knows, away from the city so that no Saesangs can follow us and we can be safe.

Currently we're the most talked and famous group in Korea and there's enough Saesangs for us.

But fortunately we've this pleasant place to live where there's only nature and where we can live peacefully.

After some time as always I felt hungry so I decided to stop at my favorite cafe <3 which is the only cafe near our house. I wore my mask and everything and went in there so no one could recognise me. We always have to fake our identity :( that's tiring.

Well, this cafe ain't my fav for the food but for that guy who sings here, I mean I don't like him but his voice is just too good I can't resist🤧

I was just too excited to hear him after so long but when I went in there I couldn't find him...

I sat on a table and the waiter came to take my order.

I didn't tell him my order, instead I asked him this- “ Where's the guy that used to sing here? ”

“ He got some job so he ain't coming here now, mam” he replied.

“ But he sang so good” I said, trying to not seem as sad as I was. But I'm not good at hiding emotions :( I almost cried in front of him.

“ Don't worry mam, the new singer is great too” He said quickly, “ Mam, I'm getting late”

“ Ah yes, thanks for the info. You can go now” I said, lost in my thoughts.

“ But mam... Your order..?? ”

“ Oh yes, gimme a kimchi rice” I ate kimchi whenever I felt sad. It lightened up my mood.

“ Ok mam, anything else? ”

“ No thanks”

Why'd he have to go.. He sang so good.

I saw a boy holding a Mike and a guitar, ready to sing. He's the new singer? Doesn't look nice..

He slowly started singing. Not bad if you ask me, he's actually very good. His soft voice somewhat resembles the old singer..

By the time he finished one song ‘ Euphoria’ my kimchi rice came. I didn't need it much becuz I wasn't as sad as before, but food is food :)

While paying my bill I asked the manager about the new singer, he said that his name was Park Ji-min, and he's from a middle class family and needs money.

He literally stole my name.

I stole a last look from him, who was still singing and looked kinda... Nice now.

Ew what did I think just now? Nice? Men aren't nice.

I suddenly remembered what happened to me 10 years ago..

The way he touched me... my legs and between my thighs..

I cried at that thought.. Suddenly my hands started shaking.. Everything was blur.. I tried to grab my phone and call Lisa but I couldn't even stand..

It's happening again.. I'm getting a panic attack.

I don't remember what happened after. But when I woke up I found myself in my bed.

Lisa was beside me, and she's what I needed the most. She's my biggest strength and I can't explain how precious she's to me.

She just kissed my forehead and intertwined her hands in mine. That felt good. I wished I could tell all this to Jennie and Jisoo unnie but I can't. I'm afraid if they would accept me...

I heard my mom talking to the doctor.

“ Her condition is getting worse Ms. Park, I think she needs rest. Or her condition could get worse. I suggest she mustn't go to college for at least a month” doctor said.

Mom thought for a while and said, “ No, she can't drop college. She needs to graduate and debut as soon as possible. We can't wait for one more year, the neitzens are all hyped for the girls’ debut.They won't wait for one more year. ”

After saying this she went out. The doctor too sighed and went.

Now only Lisa and me were there, alone.

“ She doesn't love me, does she?” I said silently and started crying.

“ Rosie... ” Lisa tightly hugged me. “ I'll always love and care for you”

“ I know” I gave her a fake smile and stopped crying.

I need to be strong. For Lisa. For Jennie unnie and Jisoo unnie.

I need to be strong for myself.

A/N - In case you're wondering, it happened after Lisa got to know about Kai and Joy. She was home when she got a call from Rosie's mom, at almost 11.
