Chapter 8

Irene pov

“W-what are you doing here?”

We looked back to see who was talking. It was, of course, Karina.

“ I don't think I need to explain” I said, throwing those reports at her. I was truly disappointed, more with myself that I hadn't maintained a too close relationship with Karina so she could share all this with me.

“ Would you care to explain what the fuck this is” I yelled at her. I knew it's wasn't any good to yell at her like that, but I couldn't help myself.

“ Irene, calm” Jisoo unnie said sternly. Then she continued, “ Karina, are you pregnant with Yeonjun’s baby?”

“ Yes” Karina said and started crying.

“ Who's Yeonjun?” I asked, confused.

“ Karina’s boyfriend.”

“ What? Karina had a boyfriend? And you guys didn't even tell me?” I bursted out.

“ I'm sorry Irene, but Karina didn't want to tell anyone-”

“ That's it, I'm so done. Congrats Karina, have good time being pregnant while you haven't even graduated yet. And of course, congrats to Goddess Jisoo! Be the best aunt to the baby” I said and walked out of the room.

So they hadn't even bothered to tell me. I felt so betrayed. Let them deal with it now, I don't care.

Jennie pov

I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock, at 5 am. As I woke up, I looked at the mirror from my bed.

I saw what I expected - Dark circles, pale skin, red eyes, and whatnot.

I sighed. I was supposed to look good today. We had to advertise our group at a farm, and also reveal our group name. If I went out like that without makeup, everyone would question me.

And I couldn't tell them that I had been crying like a 3 year old all night. It was normal for me now, crying all night, barely getting any sleep and then covering it all with some coffee and makeup.

But today was different. I had to look good, for this moment would come only once in my life.

It was only 2 months until our debut. We would start our song recording from next month and then the mv shooting.

I was just about to get up from my bed that-

“ Don't get up! The floor is wet, I just cleaned it” Sulli unnie suddenly emerged from my bathroom, carrying a sponge.

Shit, Sulli unnie. I wanted anyone but unnie to see my face right now.

I quickly covered my face with my hair, trying to seem not so obvious while doing it.

“ Why are you up so early?”

“ Oh, actually-”

“ You're going on a date with Kai? Wow, get dressed up then! It's been ages since I've heard about him.. ”

“ Unnie, no. We broke up”

“ What?! Why? Are you okay?”

I told her what had happened, though it hurt remembering those things.

“ Are you okay?” she said, embracing me in a hug.

“ I'm okay” I said, even if it felt like I was going against every cell of my body. “I'll get ready now, we all are to reveal our group name and some concept photos at a farmhouse. I like the concept - nature. I wonder what the song would be like...”

Rosie pov

“ Ready?” the manager asked us.

“ Yep” we all replied and he started the car.

We all were at the back seats, Lisa by Jisoo unnie’s said and Jennie unnie by my side. Jisoo unnie looked very glum, same with Jennie unnie.

We also had our manager with us, and potato teacher.

“ I wonder what potato teacher is here for, I mean isn't she just the teacher. Why would she want to come to our photo shoot?” I said.

“ Probably to see her siblings”

“ Lmao yes, potatoes, at the farm”

“ Hey you, what do you mean by that? Be grateful! You're going to debut without real kpop training. You're lucky that I haven't trained you like I did at my agency” Jennie unnie imitated potato teacher.

We all laughed.

“ I wonder what the name of our group will be though” I said.

“ Yes, but isn't it a group name reveal video thing? We should be as surprised as the fans” Jisoo unnie said.

“ Yeah. That's stupid” I said. I looked at Lisa who was busy chatting with someone.

“ Aye, Limario, who you chatting with?” I asked. “ Lisa? LISA?!”

“ WHAT?!” she said as if she had been dreaming and we broke it.

“ I hope you haven't got a boyfriend” Jisoo unnie said as she sipped her chocolate milk.

“ Yeah, my relationship had caused enough controversy. Do you like someone?” Jennie unnie asked Lisa.

“ No, I don't ” Lisa said, but I knew that wasn't true.
