Chapter 9

Third person pov

" What's the use of being rich if I just have to walk over that farm which is two freaking miles away?" Jennie groaned as they walked on the muddy road.

" It's honestly no one's fault that the car broke down midway" Jisoo said, " I'm pretty sure that we can walk 2 miles, prior to the fact that we have practiced for 12-14 hours straight."

The car had broken down midway, and the manager had told the four girls to walk over their destination, while they try to fix the car and then come after them.

" My legs hurt, how far is it now?" Lisa said, sitting down for a bit.

" It's not far away now, I can already see the fencing of the village. And my watch says we've walked over 1.5 miles now", Rosie said promptly.

They all started walking again until they finally reached their destination.

" Now we just have to find someone named Kim Tae-hoon", Jisoo said.

" There aren't much houses here, and even if there are some, they are abandoned", Rosie said.

" I wonder if anyone even lives here", Lisa said.

Even after walking for 15 minutes they couldn't find any sign of the man, or even any life. There were just some birds and squirrels, the only thing that was abundant in the village was mosquitoes.

" I regret wearing this sleeveless top", Lisa said grumpily, scratching her arm.

" You talk of sleeveless tops, and I'm here wearing a sleeveless top AND a short skirt", Rosie said, trying to kill the mosquito on her leg but failing miserably and ending up slapping her own legs.

" I am... THIRSTY", Jennie said, in a very dramatic tone.

" Ah, I think this is the place. It says Kim Tae-hoon", Jisoo unnie said, reading a name plate of an extremely beautiful villa. There was a large field and a big pond where a cow drank water.

" Water!" Jennie exclaimed, rushing over to the pond. But she soon discovered that it wasn't drinkable for her, for it had fish in it.

The other three went to the backyard, in search of the owner of the villa.

Jennie, meanwhile,was dying for water. She went towards the villa but found that it was locked.

Jisoo finally found a pot of water at the corner of the yard and went to find Jennie to give it to her. But when she went to the front of the villa over the field, she found Jennie - running as fast as she could - while a wild pig ran after her.

Jennie's pov

I was running for my life. I was just looking for some water when this random pig started running after me.

I hate pigs. Its a childhood trauma for me. A pig once bit me when I was small, and I had to take 9 injections.

I couldn't bear 9 injections, AGAIN. I ran for the sake of my life, over the big field. Just then I saw a man come over to the pond I went near first, and a feeling of relief took over me.

I ran over to him, thinking it was Mr. Tae-hoon.

Third person pov

" Mr. Tae-hoon, please save me!"Jennie cried, hiding behind his back.

But the pig came to Jennie all right, and Jennie grabbed the man's shirt, who she thought was Mr. Tae-hoon, and ran with it.

Jisoo, meanwhile, was shocked by the amount of chaos her eyes were witnessing. Did Jennie just grab a random man with his shirt, and took him with her as she ran at the speed of 80 kmph? Just because she was chased by an completely harmless pig?
