"You don't have to fetch her, she will come in at her own time." Dani reassured me as she sipped on her drink, snuggling against her boyfriend.

My anxiety started to raise when I didn't see CJ. I know she's here, outside but what if something happened to her outside? Anything can happen in a few seconds. A heart can stop, a car could crash. So many fatal thing could happen. Just one second.

She make me overthink things. A little too much for my liking. We were sitting in a corner, one that sees the entrance and the kitchen. Watching over all the chaos of the party. The loud screams, the sloppy make-outs, the dancing, eating and drinking. I've been to many parties but this one was different. CJ was attending. She hasn't been to party like this, she only attends birthday parties and other somewhat important events, but this? This was not her scene, not my CJ.

"Dude, relax she's coming in give her..." Ash got cut of by the sudden change in music. The room goes quiet after we heard a click. the sound of footsteps. All eyes turned to her as she walked in. The music got louder, but to me, it faded out. I kept an intense gaze on her.

Fuck.

I was stunned, unable to remove my eyes from the sight that stood in front of my eyes. I've never seen her like this before.

Celia's brown curly had gone straight. Her dress. Fuck, that dress. It makes my thoughts run wild, thoughts one shouldn't have about his best friend.

The dress clung to her body. Black and short. The slit running up the side, exposing her light brown thighs. She walked with confidence, I know she was scared, all the attention in the room was focused on her.

I felt jealousy stab me in the chest. Everyone can see her exposed like this. I wanted her all to myself. I wanted to be selfish with her, all the time.

She turned and made her way towards us. Taking a seat next to me. After she sat down, the party continued as normal. She placed her bag on the lap and crossed her legs before greeting us.

"For a person who doesn't like attention, you sure did make an entrance." Ashton said while taking a sip of his drink. CJ chuckled, trying to hide her embarrassment that was evident on her face.

Dani jumped up from beside her boyfriend. "No seriously, that was a killer entrance. Even the song was perfectly timed." she exclaims.

"That wasn't supposed to happen, I wanted to wait until the music started again. I didn't expect that song to play." CJ says, tucking her now straight hair behind her ear, playing with her hands in her lap. Also bouncing her leg fast.

It's her anxiety, do something you idiot.

What should I do?

Something, you cant let her be anxious like this, she's helpless.

I place my hand over hers. "You look beautiful." I whisper, loud enough just for her to hear. She smiles and mumbles a thank you. That smile, that beautiful smile. "Come on." I say, standing up and putting my hand out to her.

"Where are we going?" she asks, confusion on her face.

"We are going to the other kitchen to get you ice cream, then to the balcony because you don't like it here." I reply pulling her up to her feet.

"What about Dani and Ash?' CJ asks. I gesture over to the two making out on the couch.

"They wont even notice we're gone, and if it makes you feel better, we can send a message to them on the group chat." I tried to reassure her. In truth I just wanted her alone. I saw a few boys staring at her thighs and adjusting their pants.

We walked to the other side of the mansion we had booked. There was a second kitchen where I had stashed her ice cream for her. I wanted to make sure that nobody ate it.

After a short walk in silence. I switch on the light in the kitchen. It was dimly lit in orange light. The interior was black. Matte black, with a large island in the middle. There were gold handles on the black cabinets, white and gray marble counter tops.

I turn to pick her up and sit her on the counter. She hisses when her skin makes contact with the cold marble top. I take her ice cream and a spoon and hand them to her. She looks more relaxed now that she away from the large crowd and noise. I pull a stool and sit in front of her. Her skin glows under the light. Gorgeous. Stunning. I didn't realized I had completely zoned out looking at her until she spoke

"I know it hasn't been two hours yet but I would really like to go home." she looks down, almost disappointed in herself.

"honestly I would like to as well." I reply

She looks at me. Her eyes travel my face, trying to see if I was being honest. "Well my car is close, if we can find a back door somewhere here." she says, looking around. You can see her car just outside the window. "Are you sure you want to ditch your own party? I mean, I'll stay if you want me to."

"Yes, I rather spend my night doing nothing with you than to do something with someone else."

"Okay then, I'll text Ash and tell him that we are leaving." She finds the door and turns to me.

I move to stand between her legs. Celia looks at me confused. "wrap your legs around my waist." I state. She opens her mouth to speak but I cut her off. "just do it so I can carry you to the car, I know for a fact that those shoes are uncomfortable" She moves her butt to the edge and wraps her legs around me.

She circle her arms around my neck. I carry her to her car. Once I get to the passengers door, she unlocks the car. placing her inside and walking to the other side before driving off.

"May I sleepover? I don't want to go home tonight." I ask her once we are inside her apartment.

"Sure, I'm sure I have a few of your clothes in the my closet. Plus you have your overnight clothes in the guestroom." She replies.

"You should just say its my room, I'm the only one who ever sleeps there." I scoff.

Celia and I went our separate ways. I took a shower and changed into a hoodie and sweatpants. I make my way to the kitchen when I'm done. I was making pasta when Celia emerges wearing one of my hoodies. It stopped just under her butt and was high on her thighs. The sight makes my thoughts run wild in my head.

"What did you eat today?" I turn to look at her.

"I don't remember." She answers, not making eye contact.

"You know, every time that you don't eat properly, and I ask you about it. Your answer is always 'I don't remember.'"

"I'm sorry." is all she says. Always apologizing even when she doesn't have to.

"well sweetheart, I will forgive. Only if you finish the bowl pasta that I give you, okay?"

She nods.

After cooking up a storm in the kitchen, cleaning up the aftermath of the storm. Then eating the delicious bowl of pasta. we found ourselves sitting together on the couch, watching a movie. However after a certain point in the movie, the movie became more and more boring. So boring that I couldn't stand to watch the rest of it. After a few minutes of contemplating the idea, my intrusive thoughts win. before I can overthink my decision, I speak

"Lets play a game." I suggest.

she turns to look at me for a minute. Her eyes waver for a fraction of a second before she takes a deep breath and asks.

"What game are we playing?"

"Truth or dare."
