The boys may now be superstars, but they're not letting all the attention to go to their heads and still insist on helping others as much as they can. In fact, they interrupted their world tour to pay a visit to cancer - stricken schoolgirl Niamh Power in May 2012. The eight year old was delighted at the surprise visit arranged through charity Rays Of Sunshine. One Direction are ambassadors for the organization, which grants wishes for seriously ill children between 3 and 18 years old; they often visit patients at home, and invite special fans backstage before and after their shows in UK. They also joined forces with JLS to record a single, a cover of Rose Royce's 'Wishing On A Star', for the children's charity Together For Short Lives, and in October 2011, Zayn posed topless to help raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.
