Since their fans like almost nothing better than when the boys reveal an inch or two of naked flesh, the band-mates have to make sure they are honed and toned to perfection. That means hours spent working out in the gym, wheter they like it or not.

Liam is by far the most enthusiastic trainer and uses Protein Powder to bulk up, but the group are all kept in shape with tough dance routines choreographed in the UK by The X Factor's Brian Friedman and, when in America, they work with Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend, creative director and choregrapher Wade Robson. But when it comes to getting the boys to stick to a healthy diet, the team have their work cut out - they all love Pizza and Nando's Chicken, while Louis' favourite food is a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich dipped in brown sauce!

"I ask Niall if he wants to go to the gym and he says, "I'll see you there," then never turns up - unless he's hiding under the weight bench, lifting 40kg and I didnt spot him!"
