**Y/N POV**

I hid in Lilly's neck, knowing I could trust her to protect me. I didn't know if the other girls would hurt me or not. They seemed shocked almost? I don't know.

Dragon Furry: "I thought Humans were...you know?"

Lilly: "So did I. But here he is."

Cat Furry: *weird finger things*

Lilly: "At the auction house near Saddleville. I don't even want to think about that place."

Wolf Furry: "Why may that be?"

Lilly: "One of the workers there slashed his eye out."

They all looked to me with a shocked look at I buried my face into Lilly's neck, scared that I did something wrong. I was then hugged by the black and purple wolf, which comforted me for a little bit.

Dragon Furry: "I feel so bad for him...Can I hug him?"

Lilly looked at me for some reason, I guess to ask for my permission? It wasn't my choice, but I nodded anyway. I just didn't want to be hit again. Lilly handed me over to the dragon and she looked into my eye and I looked into hers. They were a pretty yellow with black around them.

**Donna POV**

I looked into the one eye he had left. It was the prettiest shade of E/C, but he also looked broken inside. It made me feel bad for the little Human.

May: "How long was he abused for?"

Lilly: "Not sure."

Sally: *Well, he has some facial hair, so he's at least going through puberty.*

Lilly: "...How do you know that?"

Sally: *I took some classes in highschool.*

Donna: "Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore Y/N, we'll protect you."

May: "Such a cute name for an equally cute boy."

Y/N didn't speak while we gushed over him. I could tell that Lilly was getting abit jealous, so I handed him back to her. He then cuddled into her neck again. I guess he doesn't trust us yet.

**Lilly POV**

I hugged Y/N again, happy that he's away from those monsters. It got me thinking: it doesn't seem right to keep him as a 'pet'. I mean, technically he was, but it didn't settle well with me. I planned to talk to dad and see if we could adopt him for real. Like family.

Butler: "Miss Lilly, lunch is ready."

Lilly: "Thanks Alfred. You girls wanna stay for lunch?"

Sally: *It's your birthday after all.*

Donna: "Yeah, lets get some grub."

*3 minutes later*
**Y/N POV**

I was sitting at the table with some food infront of me. I knew they set it out so they could find an excuse to beat me. I wasn't chancing it. Everyone was looking at me with that same look from two hours ago at that place.

Lilly: "Y/N, you can eat, please. You must be starving..."

I didn't need another word. I started to shove food into my mouth. I couldn't remember the last time I ate anything that wasn't dirt. Actual dirt. I tried to fill the empty void that was my stomach, ignoring everyone else at the table.

As everyone just watched Y/N horf down his food, I leaned to dad to ask him the question.
