I followed Brandon up the street,

"What kind of prank do you wanna play?" He asks me. I shrug.

"I don't know." He smiles, "How about egg dropping?" He suggests. "We go to a brige and crack eggs as people walk under."

I shrug "Sounds good."

We walk in silence through the next few roads until we reach a bridge. I recognize it, it was the one where I had been going to spend the night.

Brandon takes of his bag and takes out a pack of raw eggs. He winks at me

"A guy gotta be prepared."

We both take an egg and wait for a target to approach. A father and daughter are walking by hand in hand. Brandon whispers

"One, Two, Three...Go." On go we both throw the eggs at them. The girl begins to cry and the dad gives us a dirty look before running away.

Once their gone we both crack up laughing.

"Oh man." Brandon says between laughs. "Did ya see the look on his face!" He says holdings in his laughter.

Once we've recovered from our laughing fit we get back to it and throw some more eggs. A while later a group of people walk past.

"One, Two, Three...Go" I whisper and we hurl eggs at them.

"YIKES!" Someone yells. We start laughing. "That was a good one," The same voice says. I recognise the voice from somewhere. The whole group look up

"Who did it anyway?" A girl asks.

As they show their faces, I instantly recognize them, it's the Lynch's. I try to hide but it's to late. They've seen me.

"Brooke?" Riker asks. "Is that you?" Brandon gives me a confused look

"Do you know these guys?" He asks. I nod. There's a long silence. Brandon looks at me awkwardly,

"I'm gonna go," he says as he picks up his bag "See ya around." He says and then runs of.

As he leaves Ross breaks the silence,

"Wh...Why did you do that?" He asks sadly. "I...I don't know," I reply apologetically

"I didn't realise it was you." There's another silence. I walk to the end of the bridge and down to where their standing, "I'm sorry." I say.

"It's okay," Riker replies. "It was just a bit of a shock, we were looking for you." He explains "We though you might have got lost,"

"Thanks," I say.

We begin to walk back down to their house

"I'm sorry," I repeat.

"It's okay," Riker laughs "It was just a prank, and we're all used to Rocky's pranks so it's no biggie."

Rocky smiles proudly,

"I am the prank master." I laugh.

When we get back to their house they all wash themselves and Stormie makes us hot chocolate and marshmallows.

"Well," Rocky says as he leans back on the sofa, "Today's been an interesting day,"

Stormie nods, "And there's no better way to end an interesting day than by getting a good nights worth of sleep, so up you go kiddos."

"Muummm," Ross whines "We're all adults, we don't need to be told when to go to bed."

Stormie chuckles lightly, "Ryland and Brooke aren't adults, and I'm your mother so you'll do what I say."

We finish our hot chocolate and head upstairs.

Stormie follows upstairs, and then sighs, "Brooke, I'm so sorry." She says, "I completely forgot to fix up the guest room for you,"

"It's okay, you don't have to, I can sleep on the sofa, I don't want to cause inconvenience." I say reassuringly and taking my self by surprise. Maybe being a typical teenager wasn't going to be that hard.

Rydel smiles "She can share a room with me, I honestly don't mind, it'll be fun." She says.

"I don't mind sharing a room with Brooke," Ross says jokingly. Everyone laughs and Stormie tuts. It turn to Rydel

"Are you sure you don't mind sharing a room?" I ask.

She shakes her head "Not at all," She replies.

"Thanks," I say.

Rydel lends me some spare pyjamas and we all get ready to go to bed. A few minutes later I'm lying on the spare matress in Rydel's room.

"Good Night Brooke." She says sleepily

"Night Rydel" I reply.

I close my eyes and enter a restless sleep.
