We hopped in Mr.Shift's black jeep. We drove I'm silence over many landscapes. We finally got to an old banged up ranch house. It had a pen of chicken and some cattle. He parked in the driveway and he helped me out. "Welcome home." He said. "For now." I didn't give "for now" very much thought because I was so happy. I walked through the door behind Mr.Shift. It was a cozy place with a small living room, kitchen, and 3 small bedrooms. "The one on the end is yours." He said pointing to the last bedroom. I started to walk over, but he stopped me. "First I want you to meet someone. Victoria, your sister is here!" I sucked in my breath. Who's Victoria? And why is mr. Shift saying she's my sister? A girl walked out of the second room. She had brown wavy hair, ice blue eyes, with freckles all over her nose. Just like me. She had a red ruffled shirt and white skinny jeans on. She smiled. "Hey Annette. I'm Victoria." She talked in a northern accent. (I lived in Alabama.) "Ummm. Hi? How do you know my name?" I looked at mr. Shift for help. Who the heck is this chick? "Annette..." Mr Shift said, "This is your twin sister Victoria."

Twin sister?!? Holy crap. It can't be true! Mrs. Harrison said I didn't have any family; I was an only child and my parents died. I guess I looked confused, because Victoria started to explain more. "I lived in a orphanage in Pennsylvania. For some reason, animals seemed to flock to me. Mr. Shift came and adopted me. He told me the story which I'm about to tell you." She stopped and took a deep breath. "You might wanna take a seat, this might take a while." She said. I pulled over a kitchen seat and sat. "Well," Victoria said, "we have super powers."
