Kassidy's POV

I woke up with a small groan, feeling tired of this shit already. I sat up, finding myself alone in this bedroom, so I got up slowly before I headed into the connected bathroom to have some water. I turned on the tap and cupped my hands, putting them under it and began to drink. There was no cup, so I was drinking like a stupid person. "Here." a quiet voice said, making me look up to see a young woman who looked like she was the same age as me. She had long blonde hair which was tied up in a messy bun that exposed her neck...

"Are you..." I began to ask, but she cut me off as if she knew what I was going to ask her. "I'm fine and yeah, I am that woman who was being fed from. My name is Ashlie." she replied, introducing herself. I went over to her cautiously and saw what she was holding. A plastic red cup. "Thank you." I told her, before I gently took the cup out of her hand. "It's nice to meet you as well, Ashlie. I'm glad that I am not the only human in this mansion." I added. She smiled at me, "Rosabell is waiting for you in the dining room. She made us something to eat." she told me the vampire's name. Rosabell...

"You can call me Kassidy." I decided to introduce myself. "That's a unique name. Anyway, I'll see you whenever you're ready." she told me softly, and then I watched her leave. I filled up the red cup with some water and chugged it down, feeling incredibly thirsty since I've been out for probably twelve hours. I was starving too. After another cup of water, I felt refreshed and finally chose to go downstairs. Once I arrived at the dining room, I looked at Rosabell and looked at Ashlie, who was eating her meal quietly. How many fucking times...

"It's rude to stare at people." Rosabell told me off in a low tone, before I grabbed my plate of food and immediately began walking away from the table. I'm not sitting with Rosabell. Fuck that. "Where are you going now?" Rosabell asked me, hearing the chair move back. "Away from you, blood sucker." I replied, not giving a single care in the world. "Thanks for the nickname. But seriously, where the hell are you going?" she asked me again, her voice getting closer as she was going behind me. I looked at my plate of food, which was just a plain miserable salad. Eat or not to eat...

"Kassidy, come on. Don't do this." I heard Ashlie tell me, before I let out a small sigh and stopped what I was doing, which was trying to get away. "Good girl. Now, let's go back to the table, okay?" Rosabell told me, before I turned around and went back to the dining table, sitting down next to Ashlie. Rosabell sat down at the end.

Ashlie then leaned forward and whispered this into my ear,

"Don't fight her, it can get you killed."
