Chapter Seventeen

// The final aftermath <3 <3

Kassidy's POV

I didn't really sleep for long after the best blood moon of my life. Well, lives. I was a human when it started and it ended up with me being a vampire. I could still feel the adrenaline in my veins and the crazy lust for my mate. I sat on top of her, and waited. But, I didn't have to wait as she was already awake. "Someone's still in the mood for some love." she chuckled at me before I watched her sit up and placed her lips against mine softly. I moaned, wrapping my arms around her to feel her body touch mine. Then, I suddenly felt her legs around my waist. I pulled away from the kiss, my eyes a little bit widened at the move. "Shower." Rosa said, before I got the message and lifted her up, then took her into the bathroom and placed her into the tub. 

I turned on the shower immediately, and then I was hungry again. 

I moved over to my mate and pressed my lips against hers again but deeply, wanting to devour her. "I can feel your adrenaline, beautiful. You need to calm yourself down, yesterday has drained me a little bit." Rosa told me, before I removed myself from her and felt my fangs coming out to say hello. I ended up biting my tongue, causing my eyes to water and sting as the hot water was getting into them. "But you can still feed from me..."

"Kassidy?"

I left the shower, grabbing a towel and wrapped it around myself, heading back to bed. I laid down on my front, closing my eyes to hopefully fall asleep and pretend that didn't happen. Then, my eyes snapped open when I felt her touch my head softly. "Bite me. It's okay. You need me." she said, "No." I refused. 

"If you don't...you'll die." she told me. I sat up and leaned down to my mate's inviting neck, before I sank my fangs into her very gently and began to feed, getting the strength that I needed.
