??? POV:
During my whole life, well, from what I mostly remember, I was always under the Emperor's hand, or shadow. I know I'm not genetically related to him or my brother, Hunter, but I always try to convince myself I am. My name is Luz Noceda.
"Your father sent me here to give you this note, Miss Noceda." The assistant of my father, Kikimora said as she handed me a letter. "Hello, Luz, I'm here to tell you that today you will be starting your first day at Hexside! Have fun, your brother will be there to assist and guide you." "Sincerely, Belos."
Me and my.. father don't really get along, as he never tells me things, all he says in excuse is "Soon, Luz. The Titan will answer your questions during The Day of Unity." I never really got to know what the day of unity was, or where it took place, but it did sound... interesting.
"Heya Luz! Want some breakfast before we head out?" My brother Hunter asks as he stuffs his face with toast and eggs. "No thank you." I politely decline as I grab my mask from the table. Like Hunter and the coven guards, I MUST wear a mask.
We make our way outside and grab our coven palismen. "Remember how to use it? Or do I have to hold your hand?" Hunter teases as he chuckles, "Haha." I say sarcastically, us shortly teleporting to Hexside.
As I open my eyes, I notice the bright sun and annoying laughs and screams of kids. I scowl as I watch two children run in front of us as we walk up the steps to the school. As we enter, some stare and some only glanced. I was able to notice a few, Boscha Tricman, the pink-haired triclopse known for her popularity and brat-like attitude. Augustus Porter, his father being the main weather-man in Bonesbourogh. Lastly, Amity Blight, green-haired witch, top of her class, and to be honest.. pretty good looki- "Luz! Bump got our schedules! C'mon! Classes start soon." Hunter said as he shook me by my shoulder and handed me my schedule.
Amity Blight's POV:
"That's the Silver and Golden Guard.. I heard they were siblings" Skara whispered to Boscha as they gossiped together. "Hm." I thought. "The Silver one's locker is next to mine. (just a coincidence, not because the writer uses that as an excuse for us to get closer.)" I muttered to myself. I gave a few glances and- oh crud. She took off her mask and gave me a friendly smile as she noticed me staring. My eyes scanned her face and drifted off and- huh? round ears.
"RAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
I set my books on my table and the teacher walks up with.. the girl I met eyes with earlier. "Hello Ms. Blight, as you are the top student in all of your classes, I expect you to guide Miss Noceda here around for a while." The teacher explains as Luz awkwardly smiles, not being able to make eye contact as I suspected she was embarrassed.
