Emergency

Taehyun woke up with a yawn before going out of his bedroom, accidentally tripping over his boyfriend, who was sleeping on the floor as per Taehyun's punishment for him for drinking the rest of his strawberry milk the previous night.

"Ahh fuck!" He said as he rubbed his butt with a frown. Beomgyu stirred slightly, opening his eyes slowly after hearing Taehyun.

"Hyunnie? Are you alright?" He asked while sitting up and looking at the younger.

Taehyun just nodded as he got off the floor. "I'm alright, I just forgot you were there and tripped onto my ass." Beomgyu chuckled and stood up, kissing the boy's cheek softly. "Does it hurt? I could make it hurt from something else~."

Taehyun gasped and smacked the boy's arm before escaping to his dressers to grab some clothes, then to the bathroom. Beomgyu followed him to the bathroom but was stopped before he could enter. "Why don't we shower together Hyunnie? It'll save water." He suggested and the younger shook his head.

"Absolutely not. I do not trust you to be in the shower with me without you doing something sketchy. Besides, I have work today thank you very much." He said before closing the bathroom door and locking it. Beomgyu pouted and went to the kitchen to make some cereal while Taehyun got in the shower.

When Taehyun finished showering and getting dressed, he walked into the kitchen while drying his hair, looking at Beomgyu who had made him a bowl of cereal.

"Sorry babe. I don't know how to cook, and this is all I could find." Beomgyu said while scratching the back of his head and Taehyun smiled and set the towel down on a chair before kissing Beomgyu on the cheek. "It's alright Hyung, thank you." He said before sitting down and starting to eat his food.

Beomgyu sat down next to Taehyun and watched him quietly with his head on the table. Taehyun looked at him and carefully played with his hair as he ate. "Hyunnie, you're so beautiful~" Taehyun hummed since he had food in his mouth, but Beomgyu knew he was trying to say thank you.

"Do you really have to go to work today? I'll miss you, my love." He pouted. Taehyun sighed and kissed the older's forehead and looked at him.

"Yes I do. My job is important and the bills don't pay themselves you know." He said softly and Beomgyu nodded in understanding.

"I'm gonna be so lonely all dayyyyy" Taehyun rolled his eyes. "Why don't you call Yeonjun hyung and Soobin hyung?" Taehyun suggested.

"But I want to hang out with you!" Beomgyu whined as Taehyun finished his cereal.

"Well you can't. You see me nearly every day, Gyu. Why don't you go hang out with your mother today?" He asked.

"Mom's got work all dayyyy." The older complained and Taehyun just shrugged while putting his dish in the sink. "Well that sucks for you." He said while grabbing his bag for work and putting his shoes on. He walked over to Beomgyu and kissed him softly.

"I'll see you later Beomie, don't make a mess if you stay here while I'm gone." He said before leaving the apartment building.

When Taehyun arrived to work everything seemed to be going normally until he noticed a few workers from the upper floors speed walking around, as if in a panic.

He walked over to Hueningkai's desk office and saw the boy typing on his computer.

"Hey, Kai. Do you know what's going on over there?" He asked, motioning over to the workers. Hueningkai shook his head.

"They won't tell us. They said it's just an issue they are having upstairs and to keep working. Other than that, I couldn't tell you." He said honestly.

"Oh, alright. I'll go check it out then. Good luck on your experiments." Taehun said before going through the teleporting pad to his floor. There, everything was worse. People were running around, papers flying everywhere, it was chaos. In the mess, Taehyun was able to spot Dr. Hun and walked up to him.

"Sir, what happened?" He asked, trying to get some answers, which he did. "Oh!! Taehyun! You're here!! We don't know how, but 013 has gotten out of his room and we cannot find him. He bugged the cameras so he's not on them."

Taehyun's eyes widened at this information. "Is there anything I could do? Do you want me to search outside the building?"

Mr. Hun seemed to think for a bit before nodding. "That's fine, if you find him contact me right away." Taehyun nodded and immediately got out of the building, starting to search.

He grabbed his phone and quickly dialed Beomgyu's number before the boy picked up. "Hyun? Why are you calling so early, are you alright?" He asked, worried about the younger since he never called during work.

"I'm fine. Where are you?" He asked the older as he searched around for Ben in the process.

"I'm at the store by your house, why?"

Taehyun was about to answer when he heard a noise coming from an alleyway. "When you're done go straight to my apartment and stay there until I come back okay?"

"Okay? Is something wrong baby?"

"No, I'll tell you about it when I get there. I love you." He said before hanging up and going into the alley cautiously. When he reached the spot where he heard a noise, he saw a male with long brown hair facing away from him.

"Hello?" He said and the figure turned around to face him, face looking as if someone caught him red handed. "Ben?!" Taehyun quickly went over to the AI and kneeled next to him. "What are you doing here??? C'mon, let's get you back to the lab where they can clean you up." Taehyun tried to lead Ben out of the alley but the boy pulled his hand away.

"No! I don't wanna go back." He said, causing Taehyun to be confused. "Why not?"

The AI looked around before speaking in a low voice. "They're going to erase my files and reboot my system with a memory wipe if I go back." Taehyun was stunned. "W-what? Why?"

"Well, since you told me about things I've been learning more about humans and now I feel strong emotions. They don't want that or for me to do something like fall in love, so they want to erase everything and start over." He explained and Taehyun was shocked. "Please don't send me back Hyun. I don't want to forget anything" he said with a sad expression. Taehyun felt bad for the AI and knew he'd get in trouble if he didn't do what he was told, but how could he hurt the friend he made just for an experiment? Those same puppy eyes that his boyfriend often used weren't helping his case either until he finally gave in.

"Alright. Let's go to my place and hide you, alright?" Taehyun said as he held the boy's hand, putting his jacket over him to cover his head. "Thank you so much Hyun!" Taehyun nodded and led him out of the alley.

He jumped slightly when his phone rung, slightly cursing when he saw who it was, motioning for Ben to be quiet he answered. "Yes, Mr. Hun?"

"Hello Taehyun. I just wanted to know if you've found him yet?" Taehyun glanced at Ben before answering. "No sir, I haven't found him yet."

He heard a sigh on the other end. "Alright. You can just go home for the night, if you find anything please tell me." He hummed yes before hanging up and continuing to his apartment. When he closed the door behind him and took his shoes off, he heard the bedroom door open.

"Baby, you're back already-" he paused when he saw someone else besides his boyfriend.

"Who's this?"
