The next day Taehyun woke up like normal and got ready for work. He sat on his stool at the table, sipping his tea with a hum while he checked his phone.

After a little bit, a notification popped up on his screen so he tapped on it, leading to his text messages.

Taehyun scrunched his nose before answering the boy's message.

I told you not to call me that

I'm still going to call you that anyways~
What are you doing today?

I have work today
Why?

Nothing, I'm just bored

Taehyun laughed softly as he typed up his reply to the older.

Don't you have other friends to bother though?
Why text me instead of the other two you  were with last time?

Oh, they are off doing couple shit today and I really don't want to be a third wheel watching them makeout every 5 minutes

Taehyun mentally gagged.

Anyways, I gotta go to work now
I MIGHT text you when I'm off work

Taehyun turned his phone off and grabbed his stuff before leaving out of the door to start his walk to the lab.

"No, you're doing it wrong."

"But hyung it's supposed to go this way!"

"No it's not, look."

"........ oh"

"I swear Kai, sometimes you make me want to jump out the window."

"I'm sorry Taehyunnie hyung" said Kai as he pouted.

Taehyun was helping Hueningkai put his robot together because someone else accidentally knocked it over, making some of the pieces come off.

Taehyun shook his head and smiled softly "it's alright Kai." He said before screwing the hatch back on the small robot.

"So, what is this thing again?" He asked the younger, who looked up at him from the chair with a big smile.

"It is a robot that can move around and dance. It can detect noise and music and learn things like memorizing names and songs etc."

"Oh wow, that seems like something many people would be interested in Kai." The shorter male said as he finished up tightening the last parts up. "All done!" He exclaimed, setting the screwdriver down and handing the robot to Hueningkai who gladly took it.

"Thank you hyung, you're a real lifesaver. I don't know what id do with out you!" He said dramatically and Taehyun rolled his eyes playfully.

"How's your work been, hyung? I thought you were super busy?" The younger of the two asked.

Taehyun looked at Hueningkai and hummed. "Well, the 'project we were working on had some technical difficulties so they are now trying to fix it so we can work again. Until that's fixed, I'm supposed to help people with their experiments down here." He replied calmly.

"Oh dang, well I'm glad you are because I can see you more for a while!" Hueningkai said with a giggle.

"Yep, now help me put this back panel on here."

"Aye aye captain!"

The short blonde hummed as he walked into his little apartment, walking to his bedroom to change his clothes into some sweatpants and a T-shirt.

Taehyun sat on the couch and was about to watch TV until his phone rang. He grabbed it and checked the caller ID, rolling his eyes before answering.

"Yes Beomgyu?"

"Hi pretty~"

"I'm gonna hang up"

"No no! I'm just kidding!"

"Fine. What do you want?"

"I just wanted to hear your voice~ also I'm boreddd what are you doing right now?"

Taehyun looked at the tv and hummed.

"I was about to watch TV until you called and interrupted me." He said with a frown. He was gonna watch his favorite show but Beomgyu wouldn't let him.

"Oh! Can I come too? Please, I have nothing to do"

"I don't know about that Hyung. I don't know if I want you in my house."

"Pleaseeeeee I'll behave, I promise! I promise Hyunnie."

Taehyun was a bit shocked from the name but shook his head. "Fine..... you can come over. But don't make a mess!!"

"Yayyyy!!! Text me the address I'll be right over!"

Taehyun rolled his eyes but smiled softly.

"Alright, see you later Hyung."

He then hung up and texted the older male his home address. Now all that was left was to wait for the boy.
