9. Cute.

Mina.

We've just landed in South Korea. I've dreamt of coming here for a vacation before. I wasn't expecting I'll be here for work.

I've been watching Kdramas since my college days. The story, characters, the plot even the locations got me hooked.

Sana: We're here! Welcome to SK Minachan!

Momo: Where will we go from here?

Ren: We'll go straight to 'the cluster' to let you girls rest and...

Sana and Momo: The cluster?

Ren looked at them questioningly then suddenly his expression changed.

Ren: Oh sorry girls. 'The cluster' is the code for the house we'll be staying and her code is 'The Star'.

Sana and Momo: Ooh the Star...

I laughed at their goofiness.

We were guided off the plane and straight into a car to avoid people seeing me. This is supposed to be a top secret project too.

Sana and Momo were excited talking about where they'll bring me. They were talking about their place first then at Sana's shop and Momo's studio. Then they were talking about touring me on famous places that was seen on kdramas. I got excited all of a sudden.

Ren: Sure, that's if we could fit those in her schedule.

The two girls faces suddenly became shocked.

Sana: Don't tell me her schedule is already full!

Ren: Uhmm technically yes. Except for the first 3 days including today.

Momo: What! Only two days?

Sana and Momo looked at each other.

Momo: your work really sucks.

I laughed at them.

Me: Technically I'm here for work so...

The girls suddenly acted sad.

Me:... At least we still have the two days right?

Sana and Momo looked at each other.

Me: Oh come on girls. We'll find a way. We'll squeeze some rest days somewhere on the schedule. I do have rest days, don't I?

I looked at Ren who was suddenly startled.

Ren: oh yes... Of course. We could squeeze that there... Somewhere.

Ren doesn't sound convincing enough.

Me: See!? So stop sulking there and just plan what we'll do for the two days before I change my mind.

Sana and Momo suddenly sat upright and began planning right away. I'm really glad these two are also here.

I looked at the window and wonder what will my life would be here. I've been wondering nowadays if I made the right decision of coming back to work. Then this opportunity came which also served as a getaway from all the circus in Japan.

Having a fresh start in a different country sound thrilling yet somehow makes me feel somewhat scared and nervous but excited too.

We arrived at my home here in SK. I was shocked to see that it was a huge mansion. It's barricaded by high walls and there's a fountain in the center of the driveway. I heard on the guard's radio 'The Star' has arrived

We stopped in front of the main door but they didn't let us go out yet. The men, who were wearing black suits, got out of the car that was ahead of us and also from the car behind us.
