114. Change of Plans.

No One's POV.

They arrived in SK almost noon. They went out discreetly from the VIP exit. Ms. Kang had her secretary fetch them and drove them to a place where they'll stay for the meantime.

Meanwhile Jennie was fetched by an officer. They arrived at the hotel adjacent to the address Mina provided which is an apartment building. There she met Detective Lee. He had already setup surveillance around the apartment building. She entered a room which was converted to a surveillance hub with a lot of monitors.

Jennie: Talk to me.

Lee laid out the blueprint of the building on the table. As well as aerial pictures of the vicinity.

Lee: The address you gave is an apartment building. I assigned 4 Teams. Team A in charge of CCTV of the apartment. The owner of the building has been informed and gave their full cooperation. Team B are the armed swat which is divided to 3 groups assigned on both west and east staircases as well as on the basement. Team C are officers undercover as civilians scattered near the building and on each end of the road. Team D snipers ready to dispatch once target apartment is confirmed. Here we have monitors left and right are handled by our 2 technicians assigned on the body cams. The middle monitors would be for cctv feed by Team A. And a hacker just in case we need.

Jennie: Good job. Any news from the airport?

Lee: Sill reviewing, there's a lot of cams. They added more men to help review the footages.

Jennie: hope we they could find something we might need. Meanwhile we can't do anything unless we know which is their suite... Let's do a quick run down.

Jennie spoke to all the officers involved via radio.

Jennie: I'm Detective Kim, in charge of this operation. Target is Hwang Felix. I'm sure you already have his picture. 3 weeks ago he kidnapped Son Chaeyoung. All we know so far they assumed new identities and that the victim is at that address. We need to be alert and shouldn't have any mistakes. This might be our only opportunity for the victim might not be able to give us a lead again.

Lee gave her iced coffee and a sandwich. She nodded at him as a thank you.

Jennie: Team C be alert, check every car. Signal us once he's spotted. Team A will be our eye inside the apartment building. Pin point in which suite they're located. Once we identify it, bug it check how many are inside. Once clear raid it and secure the victim.

She stopped as she saw Lee talking to someone on the phone then checked his laptop.

Jennie: Stand by for further instructions. All team leaders report any suspicious activities. Assign some people in Team C on a car ready to dispatch anytime.

All the team leaders responded. Meanwhile Lee looked at her looking grim.

Lee: They found them in the airport cctv. They sent me copy of their passport with new identities. The victim...

Jennie: What?

He played the video on the middle monitor. A man with a cap handed 2 passports to the immigration officer. He removed his cap and shown a dark blue hair, Felix.

Lee gave Jennie a copy of the passports. Kim Daeseong was Felix and Kim Eunji is Chaeyoung.

Then Felix pointed something to the immigration officer who stood and walked towards it. Another camera angle was shown and the immigration officer approached a stretcher assisted by paramedics. This time the camera angle was far so they couldn't see the face of the person in the stretcher.
