58. Stunned.

Mina.

She kissed me! My hands goes automatically on my lips as I saw her ran away. I was stunned yet my tears fell.

Why do I feel like I've made the stupidest decision? As soon as her body left mine, It felt as if something's missing.

Spending time with her was different. Being with her was so much fun, makes me feel secured, calm and happy. But now that she left, I felt alone again. I now longed for her presence, her warmth, her stare and her touch. This is not how I expect the day to end.

I slowly fell to the mat, staring at where she ran. She's gone. My heart throbbed. Was that the last time that I'll see her?

A minute later Momo and Sana went into view. I was still staring where I last saw her. I can't get my focus back but I can see my cousins. Upon seeing the state where I'm in, they both ran towards me.

Sana: Mina? Mina? are you okay?

She shook me a little. I tried to speak but nothing comes out. I gulped.

Me: She... She's gone...

Momo: Who? Chaeyoung? yeah we saw her. She ran towards her car and sped away. I don't think she saw us.

Sana: What happened? Why are you looking like that and why did she have to run away like that?

Momo: Did you two fought?

I'm still in shock that I can't speak yet. so I just shook my head.

Sana: You said your goodbyes?

Goodbye? then reality hits me. She kissed me and said;

"...I hope that's something you'll remember me by. I'm gonna miss you..."

She kissed me so I could remember her and then she ran. That's her goodbye.

I looked at them nodded and then broke down. They both hugged me. They let me stay like that for a few minutes until I calm down.

Momo ran inside the house and went back and handed me a glass of water.

I fixed myself, faced the sea and sat by the sand. The two did the same, sitting on either side of me.

Momo inhaled deep then exhaled.

Momo: Wow. This place is amazing. It's been a while since I smelled the sea.

Sana: Me too. It's so peaceful here.

Momo: I agree. a perfect setting to unwind.

"... it's a perfect spot to unwind..."

That's Chaeng's exact words when she arrived here.

Me: I came here to getaway, to think. But it seems like going here made me more confused.

I know the two were looking at me then at each other.

Momo: Why do I get the feeling that you turned down Chaeng? That you both said your goodbyes that's why she ran and you went stuck up earlier.

Sana: Mitang, we've known each other since birth. We know you like her.

I looked at her shocked. How could they know?

Momo: Your face shows you're puzzled how we know it. Well you're quite obvious.

I looked at Momo. Me, obvious?

Sana: From how you act and react when she's around...

Momo: how you look at her...

Sana: how you smile at her...
