How does it feel like
To believe in something
Someone, without seeing
To love unconditionally
Selflessly, without limit
To stay when all is in ruins
Even when your mind is racing
Towards the dark forest
As creatures loomed over your head
Waiting for the moment to strike
To do so with every possible way
Though it left you scarred
To run when you're out of breath
Just so you could outrun your demons
To protect what's already in the brink
Of giving itself up
I wonder if I'd get to see
The kind of love I've dreamt of
Or is it just plain fantasy
An alternate reality
I've created to escape
