Chapter 47 Prove me

I love you " he whispered in her ear, her eyes narrowed it was like everything paused around her, she could feel his heart hammering against his chest when unknowingly a lone tear slipped from her eye

Mridula stared at him he just held her in his arms " Chocolate I love you " she was immediately snapped out of her trance as she pushed him away "stop acting please! " she snarled at him her hatred for him was visible it was then he felt guilty it internally broke him by the way she gave him a disgusted look, she hates him now how could he forget

" Chocolate I know what I did was wrong with you and I know I am not worthy of forgiveness but am sorry Am sorry " his voice cracked as tears ran down his eyes " I love you chocolate, I know what u have gone through because of me doesn't deserve forgiveness" he kneeled on his knees still staring at her eyes   he held her hand and kissed it as he placed her hand near his  eyes  worshipping it, tears fell from mridulas eyes at his this gesture

"I wish I could fix up my mistakes in the past chocolate I ......."

" U could" he was interrupted by Mridula

" I could how ?" he asked his voice cracking as a ray of hope sparkled within his eyes

" Yes by  Leaving me alone leave me Mayank just leave me " she spoke her voice cold and emotionless as she harshly yanked her hand away from his grip she turned away from him as she bit her lip from letting a sob escape her lips tears streaked down her cheeks as she walked away leaving him alone.

He stared at her retreating figure his soul was crying out to stop her. To stop her from going away.

But perhaps it was too late now to regret his past mistakes

Mridula walked into her room and the moment she was in she closed the door shut with both of her hands her back was pressed against the door as she fell on her knees crying aloud, screaming at her fate.

" Why god why? "

She asked god " What did I do maa why is this happening to me " she sobbed hugging her knees tight

Mayank stared at the closed door of his chocolate room he felt guilty he touched the door placing his ears against it as tears leaked from his eyes he did not have the courage to knock on the door because he was the reason behind her tears

Sighing he crouched in front of the door with his back pressed against it. The whole night  both of them spent
crying in silence one weeping at their fate and another regretting their mistakes.

The first ray of sunshine fell on Mayank as he squinted his eyes shut blinking away his vision it was a sleepless night for both of them he looked at the door when he heard slight shuffling in the room and the twisting of the door knob bought Mayank back to reality she opened the door

Her eyes were red and puffy as his swollen eyes met with hers , she stared at him who was sitting on the floor she held his arm and pulled him up " U want me to give you a chance right? " she asked him

" Then prove it to me "with that she dragged him by his arm taking him somewhere he would have never expected......

Both of them stared at each other as they stood infront of the Antares ( a place where immortal, marriages take place)  "u love me right then prove it " he stared at her confused " Marry Me " she asked him

His eyes broadened at this " U can't right" she smiled

" Let me give you another option let me go Prince ...." She trailed off

" I will Marry you " he spoke she was taken aback by this comment

" Your not serious right" she asked him

" No " he pulled  her by her wrist  towards him " ur my everything chocolate every thing I love  you chocolate" he whispered intensely tears fell from his ear

" Let me go " she whispered her voice cracked. Internally Mridula was breaking 1000 times more than Mayank even his betrayal did not hurt this much but her words were hurting her more

Both of them stared at each other's tears running down their eyes
Two souls were breaking both of them regretting each of their decisions, Through his eyes Mayank was begging her to not leave him for her to stay , Mridulas lips quivered " if only I could believe you " she whispered her heart aching witheach and every word she spoke " if only you didn't hurt me I would have stayed "

" Fine " he took a step back from her his face cold devoid of any emotion " u can go " he stared at her " but before" he continued

he immediately snapped his fingers together as Dark angel the book appeared in front of them both

Now u can go " he whispered as the gates of the palace opened " leave " she stared at him this is what she wants and she was finally going but why was her heart breaking?

she grabbed the book and walked out of the palace " go through the tunnel u will be in the forest of ella " he spoke as his voice cracked she nodded as she stared at the tunnel formed infront of her

Mayank stared at Mridulas disappearing figure until it completely disappeared in the tunnel he punched the wall in frustration and anger as blood dripped from his knuckles he fell on the ground as he cried out screaming her name but it was too late for only he had now was regret paying for his sins ...
