the first breath she took after stepping off that long flight was the freshest one she'd ever been blessed with taking. jieun'd gone under the impression her torso would permanently be contorted in, in her opinion, the most uncomfortablest position ever known to man.
jieun is also know as the family's drama queen, though, so when she said this, her parents looked at her as if she'd called out their names.
nevertheless, she was happy to finally be in her motherland. it was her first time, afterall, the high levels of excitement which were endless through her entire being had been expected.
after the sim parents had seen how... low quality their son's maiden language skills were during his time on the survival show, they'd suddenly made it their lifelong goal to ensure jieun wouldn't embarrass the- herself when they'd eventually take the trip to korea.
she couldn't seem to tear her eyes off the dancing cherry blossoms, naturally flowing with the wind, as pretty as they'd been in the pictures jaeyun had spammed her with the day they'd come into season.
the trio walked down the small street markets, the couple basking in their home of which they'd been deprived of for nearly an entire decade.
jieun felt her phone vibrate as her dad was occupied in buying her a few plates of tteokbokki, eyes squeezing to a smile as she read the name.
