their relatively short conversation was more than enough for the best-friends-who-happen-to-be-siblings to understand each other. jieun thanked her father as he handed her the two large orders of her favourite snack - the girl indescribably happy as she used the small toothpick to stack three of the spicy rice cakes at once, eating them in a big bite.

before you ask - yes, she did have her complementary meal on the plane.

the sim trio continued walking around the area, the couple remembering and squealing at the memories one of their many older date spots brought them. jieun stayed close beside her mother, softly smiling as she watched her parents so happily interact with one another.

of course, they'd always been like this - however being surrounded by the air and land they'd both grown up and met each other in made their love all the more special.

the girl often found herself hoping she'd get to experience something similar to what she grew up witnessing.

she was knocked out of her daydream by a van pulling up relatively close to them, the sight oher older brother she hadn't seen in what'd felt like forever enough to make her very gently place her plates down, running towards the boy.

"ji!!" jaeyun exclaimed with a wide smile on his face - his eyes lit brighter than all existing stars in the galaxy. the boy caught her in his arms, delicately wrapping around her torso while somehow maintaining a strong grip, making sure she wouldn't slip. he pressed multiple kisses into the girl's hair, feeling ecstatic as he'd longed for this since the day he'd left home.

"uhh.. we're here too, y'know," they heard from behind them - undeniably having come from their father. the siblings laughed, jaeyun gently setting jieun on the floor before stepping towards the older male, grabbing his hand before pulling him into a hug. mrs sim stood behind the three, watching the scenes before her unfold with cloudy eyes.

she hadn't realized how bad she missed seeing her three humans together.

minutes of the four greeting eachother passed before the group's manager was formally introduced, the traveling trio soon putting their luggage into the van.

"so.. is it okay if we take you to the dorm first? i need to shower and get ready and then we'll go out to explore?" jaeyun asked his family, his parents quick to agree. "we told daehyun we'd be there later, that's fine,"

daehyun was mr sim's childhood best friend, basically the reason he and mrs sim started dating at their young ages of 16 and 15. the boys' dorm was relatively close to daehyun's house, so the parents (with the managers' permission, of course) decided that jieun would be able to stay at the dorm for a majority of the time they were in korea.

the travel was only a few minutes, jieun's heartrate unknowingly increasing as the time to actually enter the dorm neared.
