Asher's P.O.V
Leo has been here for almost a week and as much as I love seeing him in my clothes he needs his own. Oliver and I rarely leave the manor so it will be good for us to get out for a while. So today we will be going out shopping for a wardrobe for Leo. Me and Oliver have already planned everything as a surprise for Leo. Currently I am heading to the library to retrieve Leo for the surprise shopping trip. I enter through the smaller side doors and head to the only occupied table in the large room. Here my submissive is hunched over working diligently on his independent studies.
"Leo." I announce my presence. "If you will come with me I have a surprise for you." He looks up his bright blue eyes shining with interest. He smiles and my heart nearly skips a beat.
"May I have a minute to replace these books?" He asks hesitantly his smile dimming slightly. As if asking for a moment was too much trouble.
"Of course, take as long as you need." I reply strolling over to the table and examining his work. He appeared to be studying Elvish culture and society. "This is quite an in-depth study." I say picking up a page of notes on legislative laws. When I look up again Leo's face is adorably red.
"I like to dive deep into my studies." He says by means of an explanation. I simply nod and pick up a few books to replace on their proper shelves. When I return the table is clear.
"Done?" I ask just to be sure.
"Yes sir." Leo replies. I inwardly cringe he doesn't have to be so formal in private. I offer him my arm and he tentatively takes it as if I would rip it away at the last second. I escort him to the garage where Oliver is waiting with the car. We pile into the back of the car and the chauffeur begins to drive us to the best shopping district in the area. We arrive a while later and begin shopping. I notice the almost reverently way Leo looks at the expensive clothes and accessories. At first he is hesitant to pick out items but in nearly an hour he is more comfortable. By lunch we have a good amount of clothes.
"Come Leo lets get something to eat. I have made reservations to The Harvest. It's one of the nicest restaurants in the air and the owner is a close friend of mine." I say hoping to impress him. He nods looking excited to try something new.
"Yeah, Leo this place has the best food I highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu." Oliver adds enthusiastically. When we arrive we are quickly seated in a very private corner of the restaurant. Me and Oliver talk between each other as Leo seems quite overwhelmed by the events of the day. As recommended Leo orders the chicken with cooked greens on the side and we enjoy a lovely meal. On the drive whom Leo finally breaks his silence.
"Thank you." Leo says quietly. "For everything I have never had such a good time shopping in my life."
"It's my pleasure Leo. Only the best for my mates." I replied smiling. We finished our date at a local creamery and headed home. Overall, I think Leo had a good time and it is always good to get out of the house.
It is supposed to be a warm day with a few clouds in the sky. Perfect weather for a picnic. I told the kitchen staff to prepare a picnic basket with fruit, sandwiches, juice, and kettle chips. Now all I have to do is find my mates. Leo is easy he is always in the library. Oliver on the other hand can be anywhere at any time. I have been wandering the manor for half an hour now and I still can't find me. Finally, I decided to go to the library and recruit Leo to help me search for Oliver.
When I opened the doors to the library laughter came pouring out. Oliver turned at my intrusion and waved me over.
"Hey Ash. We were just about to come looking for you. What's up with lunch? The staff refused to serve us and gave no explanation." Oliver asks.
"I thought we could have a picnic out by the wooded side of the pond. There will be shade and there is the dock so you can dangle your legs in the water." I respond.
"That's a great idea. Can I bring one of the books from the library?"
"Sure, Leo they're your books too now." I smile. He runs off looking for a book and Oliver stands walking over and kissing me.
"Sometimes I think he likes the books more than us." Oliver says with a quiet chuckle. I nod we both know its not true.
"Alright we can go now." Leo announces as he comes around the corner a book in hand. I smile and we walk to the kitchen hand in hand. I grab the prepacked picnic basket and we all talk as we make the journey to the far side of the pond. Oliver and I set up a blanket and set out the food while Leo looked around.
"Leo come eat you can explore later." I say. He turns to us and plops down on the blanket. And reaches for a cucumber sandwich. And so we spend the rest of the day resting, laughing, and in Leo's case reading in the sunshine. We watched the sunset over the pond together before we packed up the basket and started the trek back.
"Today was great." Leo says. "I have been meaning to tell you guys this and I've been waiting for the right moment today seems perfect. I just want to tell you that I love you, both of you." I stop walking and so does Oliver. Leo looks back concerned. "What? Did I do something wrong?" Leo pauses probably about to try and apologize.
"No Leo don't apologize you did nothing wrong we just didn't expect you to say that." Oliver says beating me to it.
"We love you too Leo." I say walking over and kissing him. I am quickly followed by Oliver who swoops down and kisses Leo as well. What a wonderful end to a wonderful day.
"Little Love do you want to stop by the bookstore when we go into town today?" I ask through the crack in the bathroom door. I hear a spitting sound and barely back out of the way before Leo crashes through the bathroom door.
"Really? You'll take me to the bookstore?" He asks as if he trying to not get his hopes up for nothing.
"If that's what you want." I say. He does a little series of jumps and claps his hands together.
"Yes! Yes, please I would love that." He all but shouts.
"Alright let's get Oliver and we can head out to the shops." Thirty minutes we are in the car with a very excited Leo. He is practically bouncing in his seat. I for one found it adorable how excited he is. Another thirty minutes and we are at the bookstore. Leo practically jumps out of the car and rushes ahead of us. The second he enters the store he locates the romance section and sped off to it.
"If I had known this would make him so happy I would have done this ages ago." I say a little befuddled. Oliver lets out a soft chuckle and heads off in the direction of the manga section. I smile after him before turning to the historical fiction. After I found a book where a female lead fights in the civil war in place of her father, I head over to the science fiction where Oliver is collecting the newest releases from his favorite author. Together we head to the romance section only to see Leo trying to balance six different books in his arms.
"Oh, hey guys." He says his head barely visible behind the books. He continues cautiously. "Asher, I was wondering can I get hard covers?" He looks so hopeful.
"Of course, you can Leo. Heaven knows I have more then enough money." I say a small smile on my face.
"Oh, thank you. Thank you so much Ash." Leo says.
"Alright let's go check out. We can always come back another day." I say.
"Ash, can we get coffee? I'm parched." Oliver asks.
"I agree. A cup of coffee would hit the spot. Let's check out then we can go to the coffee shop next door." And so we checked out and got coffee before heading home. The rest of the day was spent reading our new books perfectly satisfied in each other's company.
