Chapter 5 - To stroke someone's fur the wrong way

It was now a new morning, we now see (Y/N) kneeled in front of an auditorium covered in yellow tape, the same auditorium where Tem's predation case befell.

In front of him there were innumerous flowers and candles surrounding a small portrait of him. Some of the students were kind enough to make a memorial for him.

(Y/N) eyes wandered around the candles and flowers, he couldn't find a way to show his gratitude at such kind gesture, but even if he did, herbivores wouldn't want anything coming from him, nor from any carnivore at all.

It makes perfect sense, since after a predation case has just occurred, in their school no less, no herbivore would trust being around a carnivore.

(Y/N)'s eyes rested over Tem's portrait, he took a deep breath before resting his hands over his lap.

"I handed your letter, Tem.." His brows furrowed down as he gripped his gray stripped pants.

"I'm sorry for leaving you all alone.." When suddenly, his round Leopard ears picked someone approaching and kneeling to his side.

(Y/N) looked to his side to see a tall and slender Gray Wolf kneeled down, it was Legoshi. He had a somewhat doleful look into his eyes, as he paid homage to his friend.

(Y/N) looked back forward, sharing a moment of silence, until..

"Did you gave it to her..?" Legoshi quietly asked. (Y/N) looked at the ground, recalling what had happened last night.

"It could've been better, but I did it.. And by the way..." Legoshi turned his head to look at (Y/N).

"Thank you.. for covering me yesterday." Legoshi took a moment to realize what you meant. When he realized what you meant, he rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh.. no problem.." When out of nowhere, a piercing shriek rose within the same corridor they were.

"It's Louis!" A random girl squealed followed by an entire horde of fangirls.

"The main actor in Adler?!"

"Is it really him?!"

"How can he be so dreamy?!"

"He's handsome both on and off stage!" The girls drooled over the Red Deer.

(Y/N)'s ears picked Louis's steps nearing to Legoshi's side, when finally, he kneeled down and placed down a bouquet of flowers. They then shared a moment of silence.

"What are you staring at?" Louis broke the silence. (Y/N) looked to his side to see Legoshi staring at the Deer.

Legoshi embarrassed, whipped his head back in place, looking down.

"Is being uneducated a wolf's habit?" Louis antagonized.

"For crying out loud.." (Y/N) let's out an annoyed sigh, looking back forward.
