11. Out of the cave

"Wait, so you reveal your identity in front of a classmate of yours by accident?" Dash asked as Ella was telling her fighting crimes as they talked to distract each other from the situation they are in. "Yup, that's the actual reason we move away from our home." Ella said with a shrug.

"How did that happen? Like did they walk in as you were changing into your superhero suit or...." Dash said making Ella laugh.

"I was actually kind angry at myself when the thief had ran away because the police got in the way and when I ran away from the police before they could catch me, I went through a alley and took off my mask with a yell throwing it to the ground." Ella said.

"What I didn't know is that a classmate of mine was on the alley smoking looking shock at the revelation that I was a hero in secret making his cigarette drop down to the floor." Ella said and Dash laughs.

"No way! What happened next?" He asked making Ella smile.

"I told Rick what had happened and he made sure that my classmate had his memory erased making me feel guilty but I couldn't risk it especially having Anna to take care of." Ella's said with a shrug. "That's why I stopped being a hero and focused more on my baby sister and moved away, start a new life." She said.

"I couldn't risk myself again and getting my sister in danger because of my mistakes." She said with a frown thinking about Anna.

"I'm sorry for bringing you with me, I should have force you to stay." Viktor said.

"It was my choice to fallow you and help you find your dad, I do regret not saying goodbye to Anna before we left." Ella said grabbing his hand and Viktor smiles.

"You really think the bad guys will kill us if they see us?" Dash asked looking afraid as Ella nods.

"I don't doubt that specially if they knew that kids were on the plane, even when Helen told them that they were kids in here they still proceeded to attack us. Whoever is in charge in here didn't care that we were here." Ella said as she picks up a stick moving the wood around.

"Want to practice again?" Ella asked Viktor who nods as he faced her putting his hands up making a small shield. "That's good, keep focus on it and think of how big you want it." Ella said making him nod.

"Well, not that this isn't fun, but I'm gonna go look around." Dash said after a couple of minutes of watching them practice Viktor's power. "What do you think is going on here? You think we're on vacation or something?!" Viktor asked Dash as he stood up glaring at Dash.

"Mom and Dad's lives could be in jeopardy. Or worse, marriage." Viktor said and whispers the last word making Dash roll his eyes as he picks up a stick with fire on it. "Their marriage? So, the bad guys are trying to wreck Mom and Dad's marriage." Dash said looking at Viktor like he was dumb making said boy glare at him but before things could go south Ella steps in.

"Okay, Dash you can look around but stay in the cave no going further from us and Viktor calm down." Ella said making Dash shrug taking off to look inside the cave while Viktor goes to practice again.

"You have to give him a break Viktor, his just a kid going through all this hero stuff really fast. His probably more scared than you are but his trying to act brave." Ella said after hearing Viktor call Dash immature.

The said boy stay quite and pause his practice, he was about to say something when Ella raised her had up to silence him looking at the direction Dash had left.

"I hear something." She said with a frown and her eyes widen when the whole shakes fallow by Dash yells. "V! Ella! V! Ella!" He shouts their names as Viktor stands up with a gasp.

"What did you do!?" Viktor shouts as they run away with Dash running and behind them was the fire. They went out of the cave to see the big fire coming out of the cave making them sigh in relief but they see the rocket launching from the volcano. "I don't like this." Ella said looking worried as the rocket launch.

"Let's find a place to sleep and maybe we can go find another cave, only this time the cave must not explode." Ella said making the boys nod.

"You think mom will be okay?" Dash asked as they look at the night sky after finding a spot to sleep with Ella and Viktor beside each other.

"Your mom a strong woman Dash, same with your dad. I know they will fight with everything they have to come back home." Ella said with a smile making Dash look relaxed at her words closing his eyes to sleep.

"You really think so?" Viktor whispers as she turns around to face him laying on the grass, Ella nods. "I do, they remind me of my parents and I know that any parent will fight to come back to their kids no matter what." Ella said making Viktor nod.

"You know I'm sure that your parents did the same, they fought with everything to come back to you guys." Viktor said making Ella smile sadly. "I know they did." She said and close her eyes feeling tired from all the running and plane crash.

Viktor sighs and takes her hand in his blushing as Ella leans close to him but he didn't move feeling warm as they sleep close, he looks behind him to see Dash already asleep as he snore a little.

"I hope we come back home safe." He said as he closed his eyes to asleep and making sure to hold on to Ella through the night.
