"isabella! check the mail would you please, sweet heart!" my mother calls from down stairs, my mom cant do much since shes broken her foot, its kinda sad. it should be better soon but until then im doing everything for her.

im not going to complain though, she did have to give birth to me, it probably wasnt easy and plus she had to raise me on her own, i owe her at least this much.

"okay mom! i'll be home soon but if you need anything just call me on my phone and I'll come home." i yell back before slipping on my new convers and walking down the road for the mail.

my street was pretty plain nobody lived here just a few houses and then lots of space in the backyard. i enjoyed all the space here but it was really expensive for my mom to pay for all this. thats why i have a part time job at a bakery that i work day shifts at lunch and work my other part of my day at a daycare at night time. i dont enjoy working but i cant leave all this weight on my moms shoulders.

I scrabled my way down to the mailbox pulling up the keys in my pocket and looking for the number eight is that the key inside the hole and turned until I heard a little click letting me know it was open. The mail has stuffed up over the weeks so I pulled out the little bag from my pocket and shoved all the mail inside there. closing the mailbox with the creek I put the bag of mail around my wrist and the keys back in my pocket, on my way home i wanted to look through the mail to see if anything had come in for me. I found nothing, it was mostly bills for my mom to pay. going through it one more time I finally found a little envelope with my name on it.

I held the letter in my hand looked at it, it has a very thin front of my name on it and the place where it came from was anonymous. the letter looked suspicious but I held it in my hand the rest the way home anxiously waiting to open it.

"isabella, love, dont you want breakfast?" my mom Amanda said from the kitchen, i shook my head and responded with a "no".
i dropped the bag of letters on the coffee table for my mom read later amd rushed up to my room. i didnt even bother to take off my shoes before coming inside. i sat on my desk in my room, scrabling to find the mail opener.

"fuck it." i snap, i grab the paper in between my fingers and rip open the top of the letter like a six-year-old opening Christmas gifts.

i was nervous, i didnt want to end up in a bad situation that my mom would have to get involved with, plus if anything would happen my mom might breakdown, i have the responsibility of two little boys at home, Mark and Noah. theyre both four and love to make my life hard.

i looked around my room, posters left and right, i needed an answer, i just cant find it. i had to think this through.

but whats the worst that could happen right?

I truly wanted to believe that this letter was real, first of all I don't want to do this if it was fake but who knows, it could be real. i would do anything to help my mom and help her pay off all of her loans. So that's when I decided that I would follow this address and complete the tasks that they had given me to do.

"-and so the doctors said that i might be ready to take my cast off in a few days, but they also said that i could walk on it, as long as i put on this big pastic warp thing." my mom sets down her fork and brings up a giant pastic wrap that looked like the shape of a foot.

"thats great mom!" i say with excitement, my two little brothers clap and laugh, im not sure why the clapping but maybe it means something in their twin language.
"so does that mean you can walk around the house and do things, like cook dinner and such without crashimg those stupid cruches on the ground.

"yes, love, i can do that" my mother laughes. after i finshed my meal i helped bring all the leftover food into containers and all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. it made me smile seeing my mom happy, she decied to watch a moive with mark and noah; the moive was pretty stupid.

i ended up running up to my room like i always do and pulled out my laptop when i need to work on something, listen to music, search something, or just play on it. this time I used my laptop for that address the letter sent me, i wanted to know if it even existed before i drove to it.

i hit enter on my keyboard and the power of google did its thing. it calculated the amount of time it would take for me to get there and the exact distance it would take. fourty-five minutes away? not that bad, probably an hour with traffic and all the little things inbetween.

i printed the directions to get there and shut off my laptop, i will leave early, early, in the morning, so that ill be there just before eight AM.

i packed all my things, it will probably be a day trip, and i dont wanna be stupid and forget something. so i packed my bag ahead of time.

"phone charger?" check
"directions?" check
"letter?" check
"money?" check
"wallet?" check
"water and sweater?" check

"well look at that i think i have everything." i say to myself. i set my backpack of things beside my bed and set my alarm to wake me up at 5:10AM and i shut off my laptop and went to sleep.

the last thing i can remember thinking is, wow this is gonna be one hell of an experience.
